We didn't invent running, social runs, post run cold beverages or even being Irish but we are the big Come Fly with US! Run with The Flying Irish Running Club!

From March through November
Off-Season: Dec-Feb we still run just no shirting and we still meet up at 5:45 and run at 6!!! We run every Thursday. Meet at 5:45pm & run at 6:00. Walk, jog, slog, or fly though roughly three miles with us. We have upwards of 100 runners a week joining in the fun so don't miss out. WALKERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! Show-up six times and you will be awarded via some sort of pseudo-ritualistic ceremony, the soon to be, 'World famous', Flying Irish Running Club Shirt . The coveted shirt is good for food & drink specials after the run. Plus its free to join!

TOMORROW is our annual Halloween Costume contest and run! This is one of our favorite runs to do - it’s only a couple of miles and we get to run as a group through the mall and show off our costumes! Don’t worry, costumes aren’t required but they are strongly encouraged 🎃👻

Today was the final race in the BRRC XC series and we placed 4th!

We had an AMAZING turn out today, despite the early start time and the freezing temps 🥶Thank you Lacey, Abby, Brian, Tashina, Natalie, Dianne, Allison, David, Robert, David, Espy, and (not pictured) Malcolm and Mike for showing up today and running for the Flying Irish XC team!!

This week we will be running through the historic (or is it haunted?) Browne’s Addition to get in the Halloween spirit and prepare for the costume contest next week!

Thank you Jason, Malcolm, Dianne, Natalie, Jess, Allison, and David for running for the Flying Irish team in today’s Cross Country series race at Audubon Park! The results are in and we placed 2nd!

It’s that time of year again! We are currently taking nominations for Board member positions. Positions and example of some of their duties are listed below:

Grand Poobah
Appoints needed committees and/or chairpersons of committees.
Speaks or designates a speaker on behalf of the Club in public speeches and presentations. Signs legal documents of the Club. Ensures items required to maintain the Club’s non-profit status, tax compliance and other deliverables are completed correctly and on time.

Treasurer
Maintains an accurate account of all monies. Responsible for the timely submission of the annual corporation report to the Washington State Secretary of State as well as required documents to the IRS.

Sponsor Liaison
Responsible for coordinating all sponsorships. It’s that time of year again! Creates marketing “package” (i.e. brochure, etc.) to present to potential sponsors.
Makes presentations/contacts to potential sponsors.

Terms are 2 years in duration. Candidates may be nominated or may self-nominate. Please send all nominations to [email protected]. Nominations must be received by November 1st.
