Is Stretching Warming Up?
Here is one generally accepted definition. "Stretching is a form of physical exercise in which a specific muscle or tendon is deliberately flexed or stretched in order to improve the muscle's felt elasticity and achieve comfortable muscle tone. The result is a feeling of increased muscle control, flexibility, and range of motion."
Consider this definition for warm-up. "The physical and mental preparation for an exercise or activity in which a person is about to engage Effects Warm-up increases core temperature, and temperature of muscles, tendons, and ligaments, improving and facilitating a proper range of motion; warm-ups should be light, easy movements that mimic the sport being practiced."
Missing from both these definitions is the major importance of the proprioceptors, "special nerve endings in the muscles and tendons and other organs that respond to stimuli regarding the position and movement of the body."

B4U Golf

Golf coaching aides such as "the hanger” the pitch assist and the pure strike discs are wonderful. Our Trackman monitor is also awesome. These things can give you "feeling” and "sight” aid in your golf swing. This is where your PGA professional comes in to help you with these things. So a PGA person can teach you about attack angle and club path and grip but I get questions during the lessons like why can’t I keep my balance or my hips don’t feel like they are turning or why can’t I get my weight to the left side. This is wear my friend and colleague Charles Thomas comes in. I call Charles the body movement expert. The guy knows his stuff. He attended school at the University of Oregon and Stanford on top years of studying body motion and now we are incorporating both of our years of knowledge in our respected fields to help people improve their golf games. Email me at nacke3002@gmail if you have some questions or simply book an hour lesson at toddnackegolf.as.me and see if Charles and I can enlighten you on a few things about this extremely fun but at times can be challenging game. Keep an eye out for our 6 week new to golf or played a few times but pretty new to golf classes. Good way to learn the game in a relaxing atmosphere with 2 or 3 of your friends. It’s not all about face angle and club path . It’s also about body motion!

2022 Latah Creek Amateur Championship
June 4th and 5th

Welcome Player’s to your opportunity to play in the 2022 Latah Creek Amateur Championship!

The course and the weather should be great for this year’s championship!

We will have 3-5 flights to play in, including a senior flight (60+).

With a full field, there will be $10,000 in prizes to play for!
Payouts: we will be paying out in, clubhouse credits, the top 6 players in both net and gross scores for all flights.

Skins Game/Deuce pot: The cost is $40 for the weekend. You can pay that at the check in table. (Cash only) We will have a skins game paying both gross and net by flight each day. The deuce pot is for any deuce each day.

KP’s: There will be KP’s on various holes, there will be signs on the tee boxes telling what flight is competing on that hole.

Hole-in-one: There is one hole-in-one prize available. It is a beautiful Weber Grill donated by the fine folks at Tri-State Distributors! The first player to make a hole in one on the 11th hole is the winner!

There will be pin sheets and a local rules sheet available at the 1st tee each day.

Lunch will be provided for players on Saturday and Sunday from Egger’s Meats.
