Fireball Tool makes tools for tradesmen and hobbyists who fabricate, weld, design, and problem solve.
“You’re adjusting that vise wrong”
We went back and tested it again. Removed the center bolt? Still stiff. Removed the base bolts? Still stiff. Removed the slide completely? Still stiff. So what’s actually causing the
handle resistance? Turns out it’s the design of the vise itself.
So to fix that problem, we offer a solution.
The Fireball Hardtail high-pressure vise can give you
the option to customize how you want your vise handle to operate and give you the results you want in a vise.

“You’re not using that vise correctly”
Recently it was brought to my attention there’s a bolt to the side of the Hauer vise that’s supposed to adjust the stiffness of the vise. We tested it out… it did not work.
The Fireball Hardtail high-pressure vise can have the vise and handle operate in smooth conditions. As well as having a bit of tension if you so please. We point out the design behind it.

I recently tested the Fireball Tool Miter Square against a Speed Square to see which one works best for metal fabrication. You guys asked me to test it against some other squares. Let’s see how they perform!

Why not just cut the corner off your speed square?
At first it seems like a clever hack to check for squareness and to draw measurements from. However a speed square is meant to hook, not bump against your material, your measurements can get thrown off.
The new Fireball Miter Squares come to the rescue. No second guess, accurate measurements and fast scribing lines. Comes in three sizes 5” | 8” | 10” and made from 13 gauge stainless steel. Head to Fireball Tool, link in the bio, to grab yours today!
