Liberty Grove Farm

Now that we are able to begin competing again, I am increasing my days for lessons, xc schooling’s , and show prep time. Fridays and Saturdays are available right now and can continue to increase with demand. I am planning on attending Rebecca Farms and have experience coaching kids - adults if anyone is interested in course walks or part/full coaching. With my experience for starting young horses and workings sales, I am available to take on a few projects as well. Please get in touch with me if you are interested to schedule or reschedule !! 509-808-8944

I am always thankful to see bright welcoming eyes every morning when I open the barn doors, and to be surrounded by so many great people with the same love for animals. I’m always especially thankful for that smile or sometimes a tear that creeps over a students face when all of a sudden they have achieved and feel one more goal in their riding. The amazing feel when that horse comes up and looks to me for that snuggle and pat because they feel comfort or achievement and it’s not because I give treats to gain their attention. So grateful to have those perfect cats in my barn who want to give me their mice to show how proud they are to be fed and loved, and of course a little belly rub or lap sitting is good too! Always thankful to my dogs who are always rescued from some situation and love to be with me inside or out whether it’s 90 degrees or 5 degrees, and Matti who thinks she owns the RTV and I’m pretty sure she will be driving soon😂 I am truly thankful for that last nightcheck in the barn when all the horses are quietly munching on the last feed of hay and the soft quietness after a busy day. Most of all I’m very thankful for my family and friends who put up with my crazy life of not being there for family things because I need to be at a horse show, or dinners where I’m teaching until I’m done no matter what time, or the call of please feed nightcheck, or change a blanket or ...... I am thankful for so much.

Good barn help is hard to find!!!

A big thank you to Jürgen Hoffmann for coming to Spokane and putting up with our crazy weather!! Great clinic, lots of great things to work with.

What do you do with the hair when you clip your pony??

Thank you Heather Oleson for putting up with our temperatures (13 degrees when I picked her up this morning) and still smiling even though I’m sure it was frozen on! We had a great weekend of lessons and rides and everyone is very anxious to see when you can come back again.

Who needs a heater for watching clinics? No one when you have Oscar?❤️💖

Welcome Heather Oleson to Liberty Grove Farm for a weekend dressage

[09/11/20]   This is from one of Spokane Pony Club members who is 12 years old and really wants to help the people in Malden and Pine City with the tragedy they have suffered by the wildfires. This young Pony Club member has been calling businesses, with lots of hang ups on her ear, and still keeps pursuing. North 40, one of the businesses who listened to her sincerity, donated a pallet of dog and cat food to her to take to Malden. This young lady is saddened by the devastation and wants to help. Please donate by calling her or feel free to drop off at Liberty Grove Farm where they have drop off containers and will be picking up as they move items down to Malden. Please contact LGF if you want to contact Parker and I will have her contact you. 509 839-6035

From Parker:
Friends, On Labor Day, the towns of Malden and Pine City (just south of Spokane) suffered significant losses as a result of the fires that burned almost every structure. These families have lost absolutely everything. In an effort to meet some of the most basic needs, Parker in partnership with her Buckles & Bling 4-H and Spokane Pony Clubs are organizing a donation drive. If you would like to donate to this cause we would be happy to schedule a drop off or pick up time at your convenience. Thank you in advance for anything you are able to donate. Here is a list of the relief needs:
