WE-Bike, the hugely successful e-bike rebate program by the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), has returned for a second year! Wheel Sport Bikes is proud to be an approved dealer for the e-bike rebate program, which encourages Washingtonians to leave their cars at home and embrace active transportation. Each person who applies may qualify for rebates of either $300 or $1,200, depending on their income eligibility.

Apply today! Random selections for the rebate begin Monday, April 13th and will continue the second Monday of each month through March 29, 2027.

Love bike history? This is the Northwest's first mountain bike, self named the "Tankagnolo" by the builder, . Built in 1975 and featured in Bike World Magazine in 1978, this Schwinn Varsity was retrofitted with alpine gearing, wide tires for snow, and a disk brake! Best part? Built right here in Spokane by Bob himself. Come check it out at the Recyclery, 1711 N Division. Many thanks to Bob Crispin for entrusting Wheel Sport with this great bit of bike history.
