Lunch is in the books! Very appreciative to be able to help a wonderful organization and help take one thing of the plate of those already having to deal with too much, making lunch for the Ronald McDonald House and their families.

We’re back!

The United Spokane Avalanche is back at the Ronald McDonald House cooking meals this weekend. It felt great to be back and to spend some time with families that are going through some hard times. Love doing this and looking forward to doing it more!

Thank you Ronald McDonald House for having us this morning! We had a great time!

**Partnership Spotlight**

The United Spokane Avalanche are incredibly proud to partner with Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Northwest—a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a “home away from home” for families with children receiving medical care. By offering comfortable lodging, meals, and a supportive community just steps away from local hospitals, they help ease the burden on families so they can focus on what matters most: being together during some of life’s most challenging moments.

This partnership means more to us than just a name or a logo. It’s about showing our players what it truly means to be part of a community. From sponsoring their playground to spending weekends at the House preparing meals, our team has the privilege of giving back in a hands-on, meaningful way. Those moments—serving others, sharing conversations, and witnessing the resilience of the families there—leave a lasting impact on all of us.

As a program, we believe baseball is about more than what happens on the field. It’s about building character, gratitude, and perspective. Our involvement with the Ronald McDonald House helps instill those values in our players, reminding them how fortunate they are and how important it is to give back.

We are honored to stand alongside such an incredible organization and will continue to support their mission throughout the year. This is a partnership we hold close to our hearts, and one that truly defines what the United Spokane Avalanche are all about.

Thank you Ronald McDonald House for your support and Partnership!

💯 agree to this. We preach that practice is an opportunity to improve and not just a time you get dropped off because you’re on a team or mom and dad and old me I had to be here. You should want to be there and want to want to get better. You should also be practicing on your own time.

As the 11u United Spokane Avalanche take the field today please remember this…..

As everyone knows this is Memorial Weekend. Some call it the official start of summer, some use it as their start to camping season and others are just glad to have three days off work. During this weekend, no matter what your activities, please take a few minutes and remember why you can enjoy this weekend with your family and friends. Many of our family members throughout the generations have served proudly and returned home to loved ones; however, many have not and these soldiers and sailors are the ones we remember daily and celebrate this weekend.

Fun Fact: On Memorial Day the flag is raised briskly to the top of the staff and then solemnly lowered to the half-staff position, where it remains only until noon. It is then raised to full-staff for the remainder of the day.

The half-staff position remembers the more than one million men and women who gave their lives in service of their country. At noon their memory is raised by the living, who resolve not to let their sacrifice be in vain, but to rise up in their stead and continue the fight for liberty and justice for all.
