So happy to surprise and promote Steph to brown belt this week! 🤎
Steph has spent years showing up, working hard, helping others, and representing what Jiu-Jitsu is all about.
Congratulations!

Fun action. Don’t stop moving. When you can’t move anymore, it’s usually a sign you’re in trouble.

Belts aren’t a reward for winning.
They’re a reflection of how you show up.
Stripes mean more than progress on a belt—they reflect the habits we build every day.
In our kids program, stripes are earned through:
• Consistency
• Effort
• Respect
• Listening and focus
• Development over time
Every journey looks different. We’re here to support long-term development.
Proud of the work happening on the mats.

Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone—in the right environment.
Technique over strength.
Health over “winning”.
Plant the seed.
Let it grow.

Jiu-Jitsu is one of the few places left where people are actually forced to interact—and where we can build a real sense of community. Politics, religion, career, background, age, skill level… none of it matters on the mat. What matters is being kind, respectful, and a good training partner.
Over the years, Jiu-Jitsu has introduced us to so many good people we never would have met otherwise.
Beth is one of those people. She was visiting from Australia and ended up training with us for a few months after spotting our gym. We’re sad to see her head back home, but grateful for the time we got to share on the mats—and happy to have made a friend.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon, Beth 🫶🏻
