Successful show for the CJB Dressage team!

For my 4 pm lesson yesterday I arrived to find 5 piles of p**p all over the indoor arena. I picked them all up while my student was warming up. This morning, I came out to work my mare. There was a giant beach ball (horse soccer ball I assume) in front of the laundry room door. Not such a big deal, but then when I took my mare out to work in the outdoor arena, there was another giant ball outside the outdoor arena on the east side, rolling back and forth with the wind gusts. My mare was afraid, so we limited ourselves to the west half of the arena.

Pick up after yourselves. Do not call yourself a horseman if you think it’s ok to leave the arena a mess. Pick up equipment and put it away when you’re done. Just because your horse is used to it does not mean others’ horses are. It’s an accident waiting to happen.

No Pets and No Smoking on property of any substance. Damage Deposit of $1700 plus first-month rent of $1700 due upon lease signing. Renters Insurance and background check required.

Urbat Farms has 1st and 2nd cutting alfalfa available. They supply PVS with our hay and it has always been great quality.

Teenager took out the front fence and power pole at Pleasant Valley Stables this afternoon about 2:45 pm. Avista is onsite with wreckers and Sheriff. We don’t have an estimate of what time the power will be back on to the Stable, House, and Apartments. Calvin will work to repair the fence so the horses that are normally in the front paddock can be put back in their paddock tomorrow. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this unfortunate accident.
