This weeks 🐴 Saddle Spotlight 🐴 is Abigail!

Abigail is a freshman hoping to do urban planning. This is her first year with us and she competes on both the English and western teams. She’s been riding for 12 years and her favorite riding memory is when she got to start jumping again after taking a 6 month break. When she’s not in the saddle, Abigail likes to do archery and hike. A fun fact about her is that she’s moved 13 times!

We are so glad to have Abbey on the team!

🐴Saddle Spotlight🐴

Everyone meet Zoë W! She is a senior who has been on both our English and Western teams for two years. Zoe is pursuing a BA in environmental studies with an emphasis in geography and a BS in environmental science with a certificate in GIS. Her favorite riding memory is when she got to canter for the first time on her 13th birthday. Outside of the team, she likes to crochet and read or study languages. A fun fact the Zoe shared is that she had a spider plant named Ferdinan for nearly a decade that she kept propagating so now Ferdinan is a great grandfather! Her favorite food is mac and cheese 😋

We love Zoe and are so proud of all her hard work!🌊

Back again with another 🐴 rider spotlight 🐴!

Everyone meet Ada!! Ada is a current freshman hoping to major in biology or pre-vet. This is their first year on the team and they are a non competing member. Because they grew up in Seattle, they didn’t have much horse experience coming into college but they’ve always been huge animal person and have made tons of progress this year! Ada’s favorite memory with the team is helping out during our home show. Outside of the team, they love to sew and crochet, watch bad movies with their friends, read, and learn about niche historical events. A fun fact about Ada is that they had 11 pet rats throughout high school (total - not all at once🐀). Their favorite food is tiramisu!

We love having Ada on our team and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

We’d also like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated to our team for give day!! 💙
