Good news and bad news….

We tested today, unloaded fast. Really fast. We had our best first practice ever.

Round 2, P was consistent in the mid to low 17.4 second lap times.

On her next to last lap, she pains down a 17.31 second lap.

Came in, got some coaching from C-Weed, went back out for round 3.

Bad news:

On her “at speed” lap, the lower radius arm on the left front snapped. Followed by the upper arm. The left front wheel folded under the car and shot her straight into the wall. The front of the car is destroyed. Mechanical failure is something you can’t predict.

Huge thank you to Conner and Mike for all the help. Huge huge thank you to Will Britt and Miles Murray who were there within 90 seconds with the tow truck and the assistance getting the car back to the shop.

Unfortunately, Miss Penelope will not be racing this weekend. That was a hard hit into a solid concrete wall.

As always, we appreciate the support and love! We will rebuild this one. We will have our other car up here soon and will be back on track in the near future so keep your eyes peeled!

We may post a picture of the aftermath. That’s Penelope’s call.

Whelp….. oils changed, cars set up, we reckon it’s time to go do some testing and get back home again for twin races this SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!!

Come on out to Dominion Raceway this weekend to catch an action packed night of racing!!!

Don’t pay any mind to the mound of wood chips with the grass growing out of them. We haven’t had time to move the pile yet.
