First, have proof of age ready
Please have your player’s certified birth certificate or another Little League-approved proof-of-age document available.
Next, determine which eligibility option applies to your family.
🏠 Option 1: Home Residency
If your child does not attend a school located within BLL’s boundaries—for example, if your child is homeschooled or attends school outside the area—you may establish eligibility through your home address.
This option requires three separate documents: one from each approved group.
Group I: Driver’s license, vehicle records, employment records, insurance documents, or qualifying school records. A report card does not qualify.
Group II: Welfare records, federal, state or local government records, military records, or homeowner, mortgage or tenant records.
Group III: Utility bills, financial records, medical records, or internet, cable or satellite bills.
Documents should show the parent or guardian’s name and complete home address. Please remember that a utility bill counts as only a Group III document and does not complete the residency requirement by itself.
🏫 Option 2: School Enrollment https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/school-enrollment-form/
If your child attends a school physically located within Bulverde Little League’s boundaries, you may submit one document:
A completed Little League School Enrollment Form signed by the school’s principal or authorized administrator. Players using this form must have the forms dated prior to October 1, 2026.
When using the School Enrollment option, you do not need to provide utility bills, a driver’s license, or documents from the three residency groups.
🌟 Option 3: League Choice for Ages 4–7
Players who are League Age 4–7 may register with any Little League program through Little League’s League Choice rule. They do not have to qualify through school enrollment or home residency.
An older sibling, League Age 8–16, may also be eligible to join the same league by following an active younger sibling who registers through League Choice.
When registering, complete the younger player’s registration first under League Choice, then register the older sibling within the same family account.
What does the Spring 2027 season include?
For divisions above Rookie, the Spring season includes 12 regular-season games, an end-of-season tournament, and practice(s) as determined by your coach!
