🌱For some the holidays are stressful, but for me they bring peace.

I'm not saying that they're not busy and don't have moments of crazy; but even amid all of that they can bring great peace.

The extra focus on Christ this season helps me feel even more peace than usual. Remember why Christmas is celebrated and focus on Christ. If you do, you'll have peace in your heart no matter what.

🌱 No matter what other people post, no matter how amazing their lives seem to be, they have struggles, just like you and me. We all have difficult times. That's part of being alive.
They key is not what you're going through, it's how you deal with it, what you do with it.
During a very difficult time for me I started a glad jar with my kids. It really changed me and pulled me out of a dark place. Now, I say a prayer of gratitude (just thanking not asking) first thing every morning. I also pull out my glad journal when I find myself going down that path in my brain again.
