Now for our other 12U team — they did better than expected and finished the day 2-3! 🥎💥

Not bad at all for a group of girls who are still getting to know each other, learning how each other plays, and figuring out how to come together as a team.

There were definitely some growing pains, and that’s expected. Chemistry doesn’t happen overnight. But I saw plenty of positives today and a lot we can build on.

Great job to Head Coach Chase Williamson and Assistant Coach Derek Clark for getting these girls prepared and competitive. You can already see the work being put in and the direction this team is heading.

For their first tournament together, going 2-3 is a solid start. Now it’s back to work — keep building that chemistry, keep developing, and keep getting better every time they step on the field.

Proud of this group. The foundation is there — now we build on it. 💣🥎

What started out as a warm-up tournament turned into a trip to the CHAMPIONSHIP! 🥎🔥

Coming into today, the goal was simple: move girls around, try them in different positions, work our newer players into the mix, and figure out what this new group can do together.

We weren’t worried about being perfect. We were learning. We were adjusting. We were getting comfortable with each other.

And somehow, through all the moving pieces, these girls battled their way into the championship game!

For our first tournament together with this group, I’ll take it. There’s still plenty to work on and plenty for me to figure out, but today gave me a much better idea of what we have.

Now we get one more game.

Championship time. Let’s see what these girls can do! 💥🥎
