Newly adopted as an Olympic Sport, our karate program include all levels, Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, and High Performance. Classes are led by the Shiham Luis Alberte, 6th Dan, director of "Miyagi Ken International ( Sh*toryu Karate Do Academy). This will be the first Dojo in the State of Texas, endorsed by the USA Sh*to Kai. Individuals of all ages will be trained and developed according to the highest and most authentic principles that govern this discipline.

At just 11 years old, Lucia Temel becomes the first athlete developed at Miyagi Ken from the beginning of her karate journey to earn a place on the U.S. National Team! 🇺🇸✨
Lucia began training with Shihan Luis Alberte at only 4 years old. Today, her discipline, commitment, hard work, and love for karate have brought her to this incredible achievement.
