Here’s another glimpse of one of my sessions with my 6 year old client Daniel.

He’s getting ready to play in his first basketball league. He’s been working extremely hard and working on his game.

We worked on stationary ball handling first before working on staying low and controlling the ball.

We worked on shooting and making sure we can hit the rim and he’s a great shooter for his age. He was able to make it on the big goal several times.

We wrapped up the session by getting conditioning in.

Here’s a glimpse of one of my session with a HS client.

We worked on 3 areas of the court (right wing, top of the key, and left wing) by working our footwork while adding layers such as floaters & jump shots.

The key was making sure we’re always balanced in order to react to the defense and counter.

We wrapped the session up by getting some conditioning in. You must be in shape in order to play at a high level and valuable on your team.

Hey everyone I’ll like to formerly reintroduce myself, I’m Coach Dabney and I am the founder of RTS Sports Academy and I’m a Player Development Coach. I have 5 years of coaching experience from Elementary to High School

I work with ages 6 yrs old and up regardless of the skill set. My goal is to help my clients develop their game to where it translates into in game scenarios. The development and reps matter in this day and age and I’m using my platform to help develop as many kids I can.

This past season, our Founder Coach Dabney wrapped up his 4th season coaching and he led his team to a 10-9 record.

Coach Dabney has helped develop his players on and off the court to not only prepare them for basketball but also for life. He demonstrates the purpose of what RTS stands for which is provide the youth a road to success.
