When It's an Honor to be Dead F*cking Last
DFL or Dead F*king Last…As a road runner the prospect of this absolutely terrified me. I am not quite sure why, since I am most certainly a mid to back of the pack runner. However, roads, unlike trails, are usually about speed…or at least that’s what they make you believe.

As I hit 9 years of recovery from my Eating Disorder, I’m still reminded daily of the work that needs to continue but also of how far I’ve come. 🖤
“The way you talk to yourself, you would think criticizing your body is your favorite past-time” I caught myself thinking this towards the end of a workout recently. It’s amazing how subconsciously I can recognize and correct the disordered thoughts so quickly. I was kinda proud of this truth bomb I was able to serve myself 💁♀️💣
This is a reminder to you and a reminder to me to talk to ourselves kindly and like we would a friend ✨

Running for Recovery
Recovering from my eating disorder one mile at a time. In 2012 I entered outpatient treatment for my eating disorder. I was 20 years old and a junior at Arizona State University. The natural question I get when people find out I had (have?) an eating disorder is, what kind was it? What did you have?...

As I begin my journey as a running coach I am looking to take on three athletes in July and provide them with three months of free virtual coaching services!
Athletes must be training or aspiring towards an event of half marathon distance (13.1 miles) or above since mentoring endurance athletes is both where my passion and experience lies.
If interested please email [email protected] and I will set up a phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit.
Feel free to share with anyone who may be interested!
