One of my favorite things about survival swimming is watching babies learn to think through their choices. 💦💕

Even while protesting, she’s calculating every move she makes.
And honestly, it’s pretty impressive for someone who still babbles more than she talks. 😍

When children feel safe, seen, and supported, they are much more willing to step outside their comfort zone and learn.

This sweet boy does so well in lessons, and I have no doubt that having his special friends nearby helps him feel confident enough to do hard things.

And honestly, my heart melts every time I see them lined up on the deck waiting for him. 🥹💦🦐

This is the season when pools, lakes, beaches, and boats fill up with families ready to make memories. But it’s also one of the most important times to remember that water safety starts before anyone gets in the water.

Drowning can happen quickly and silently, but preparation, supervision, and strong water skills can make all the difference.

I am SO incredibly proud of these two sweet girls! 💦🦐

They completed a triathlon today. These girls have been with me since they were so little, and seeing their confidence, strength, determination, and love for the water continue to grow is something I will never take for granted.

This is what consistency can build.

There are moments in swim lessons — and honestly, in parenting — that feel uncomfortable. Moments where our children are stretched, challenged, or unsure. But when we lovingly support them through those hard moments instead of giving up too soon, something beautiful happens.

They grow.
They gain confidence.
They learn they are capable.
They become stronger than they even realize.

These two girls are such a sweet reminder that the work matters. The early lessons, the hard days, the practice, the patience, the encouragement — it all adds up.

To their parents: thank you for trusting the process, for showing up, and for giving them the gift of confidence and safety in the water. I am beyond proud of these amazing girls and so honored to have been a small part of their journey.

Keep going, sweet girls. You are amazing! 🏊‍♀️✨💛

I am so excited to share this and cheer on
Dena Blum-Rothman from all the way here in Arkansas! ❤️💦

Many of you know how deeply I care about survival swim, gentle instruction, and teaching children in a way that protects both their safety and their trust. So much of my knowledge, my gentle approach, and the heart behind the way I teach comes from Dena.

She has been such an important mentor to me, and I truly owe so much of what I know and how I teach to her wisdom, experience, and example.

Her amazing school in Connecticut is entering a new chapter and looking for a new name — and I would love for my Arkansas families and friends to help!

Let’s show Dena some love and send in creative name ideas. Even from Arkansas, we can be part of helping her rebrand this incredible program.

Dena, I am so grateful for you and cheering you on in this exciting new chapter! 🫶

Go to her original post to submit your name ideas!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!!

Over the past week we’ve been teasing something BIG… and today we finally get to share it with all of you!
Infant Aquatics CT is officially entering a NEW chapter… and that means a NEW NAME… with your help of course!

As we’ve grown with you and your families over the years, we realized our current name no longer fully reflects who we are, all the ages we work with, and the amazing community we’ve built together.

But while the name may be changing… our mission never will!

Same instructors.
Same survival skills.
Same love for your children.
Same commitment to helping families feel safer and more confident in and around the water.

And now for the REALLY, REALLY fun part…

We want YOU to help us choose our next name!!

Starting TODAY, we’re opening submissions for the next week and inviting our families and followers to send us their ideas. We already have a growing list of names we’ve been considering behind the scenes, but it only felt right to include the community that helped build this program into what it is today.

You can submit as many ideas as you’d like through this Google Form (https://forms.gle/WaFYPSGaQUX5Mjqc6)

And yes… there is a reward involved. If one of your submitted names becomes our new official name, you’ll receive a FULL Summer Session credit for one child (UP TO a $550 value!)

After submissions close, we’ll begin sharing finalist names and opening up community voting rounds across Facebook and Instagram until we narrow it down to our final choice!

Honestly, this is emotional for us. Infant Aquatics CT has meant so much to our family and to so many of yours over the years. We are incredibly excited for what’s ahead and SO excited to have all of you be part of this journey with us.

We cannot WAIT to see your ideas!!!

What started with wanting to protect my own children became a mission to help protect others. 💦

Thank you for supporting my small business and believing in what we do.

As we head into summer, this is one of the most important times of the year to talk about water safety.

Drowning is silent, fast, and preventable.
And for young children, it can happen in seconds.

👀 Does anyone recognize this familiar face?

Yep — that’s our very own Halsey, now featured on the Infant Aquatics social media pages.

We’re so proud of her passion, heart, and dedication to water safety. Making waves far beyond our pool! 🐬✨

Do you feel confident that your child would be able to hold their breath, find the surface, get to their back, and breathe while they wait for help? Would your infant?

🛟 Could they do it even if they had clothes and shoes on?

If not, it's time to discover the Infant Aquatics® difference!
In weeks, your child will learn self-rescue skills that will change their life.
