Things to know for Arkansas Youth State Championship this weekend.

🟢 Nearly 1100 entries. Bring $20 cash to take advantage of the Early weigh-in and skin check fundraiser on Friday night from 6pm-8pm. All weigh-ins count towards all division entries. See the weigh-in schedule on the events page for all other weigh-ins.
🟢 Registration closes tonight at midnight.
🟢 Seeding committee will be working hard through the next couple days to get us all set.
🟢 There is one entry point at the facility; purchase your entry early to skip the lines. (SCAN BELOW).
🟢 ONLY wrestling specific food allowed in from the outside, no large coolers. Team cooler can be kept in vehicles or in an outside staging area as everything is close to the facility.
🟢 Hospitality for Coaches and Volunteers, Concession for fans. Plenty of food options around the arena. No Clear bag policy.
🟢 Team awards criteria will be announced when the wrestler list opens tomorrow.
🟢 Mat assignments will be posted here and provided to club directors so parents can get seated in the optimal area for their athletes.
🟢 Novice State to run to completion 9am-finish. Girls Championship (3pm - finish) and Open Championship (9am - finish) will run to medal rounds, parade of champions and finals.
🟢 RBS Photography and BlueChip Wrestling will be onsite for custom photos and ARYW State apparel.

We’re pumped to kick off the season and have some important info to share! Please read through and reach out if you have any questions.

📅 Parent Meeting – Monday, Oct 13 at 6:15 PM (Required)
• Mandatory meeting at Har-Ber (location confirmation coming soon)
• We’ll cover season info, tournaments, expectations, and logistics.
• Please make every effort to attend!

🚫 No Practice – Thursday, Oct 16
• School’s out, so no practice this day.

💲 Season Dues – $200
• Pay via check, cash, or Venmo:
• Need a payment plan or assistance? Contact us — we want every kid to wrestle!

📇 USA Wrestling Membership (Required)
• Every wrestler needs a USA Wrestling Traditional Athlete membership from USAWmembership.com.
• Lanyards will be handed out this year for easy card-carrying.

This schedule highlights the upcoming youth tournaments across Arkansas. We’ll share more details as each event gets closer, and once the final schedule is officially released by Arkansas USA Wrestling, we’ll post that as well.

📣 Wrestling Opportunity for K-12! 📣

Little Rock Wrestling is coming to Fayetteville High School on September 20th for their Hometown Elite Series Camp 🔥

✅ Open to all athletes K-12
✅ $65 per wrestler (includes a season ticket to Little Rock Wrestling duals!)
✅ 2 sessions led by Little Rock wrestlers Matty Bianchi & Jake Stacey
📍 994 W Martin Luther King Blvd, Fayetteville, AR

⏰ Session Times:
• 9:00–10:30 AM
• 11:15–12:45 PM
• 1:30–3:00 PM

This is a great chance to learn from college athletes and sharpen your skills before the season starts! 💪

Our FREE Pre-Season Camp & Sign-Ups are TOMORROW — Sunday, August 17th from 2–4 PM at Har-Ber High School! 🏆💪

✅ Bring athletic shoes or wrestling shoes (clean socks if not)
✅ Shorts/pants without pockets + a t-shirt (not too baggy)
✅ Water bottle
✅ Parent meeting at 3:15 for season details

This will be an on-the-mat day for the kids, so come ready to wrestle! 🤼‍♂️
Please share this reminder with friends, neighbors, and classmates who may be interested — beginners and experienced wrestlers welcome, grades K–9 (ages 5–15).

New this year: no parents in the mat room please! We are trying to rearrange the mats in front of the window to see in. There will be no entrance on the side of the school but if you follow the sidewalk around to the back of the room we will enter there!
