So much fun to see my favorite Indy driver and racing his son Kit on a everyday level and not at Indy behind a table.

Recap of CKNA Nationals Yesterday……
I had a good day! My rpms are down and we couldn’t figure out why. Made a few changes and helped some. Made another last night so we will see what happens in practice.
I held 2nd fastest in my first two practices that kept me on the top. 3rd practice wasn’t a good change to figure out the problem and I went down to 3rd fastest which is still really good!! In happy hour I moved back up to 2nd!!
Today is calling for lots of rain and storms. They are going to fit in as much as they can. Bummer it’s storms and not just rain.

P2 all but 1 session today (3rd), motor was lacking almost half a mile an hour so the engine builder made some tweaks so hopefully it’s a rocket 🚀 tomorrow.

I’m excited for the race in the rain tomorrow but it will definitely make it more tricky!!

Mid-State Kart Club Cadet doubleheader race #7 & 8 was a banger! & Will shares his thoughts ❤️🔥
Will "The Thrill" Racing started the night out by putting the Mike Gadberry Motorsports Nitro machine on pole 💪🏼
Will had a great start (👓)and held the lead first lap but forgot to defend down the backstretch, got overtaken, and finished 2nd in the heat race.
Final 1: Will was battling and came up to the leaders very quickly in turn 1 and hit the brakes too hard which resulted in a spin and dropped to last with just under a half a lap gap to make up with 7 laps to go.
Will made up the gap and up to 3rd when the white flag flew 🏳️, he had a great run out of the garage turn and passed 2nd down the backstretch and had a run on the leader which fell just short at the line for 🥈
Final 2: Will set fast lap in Final 1 which earned him pole for Final 2. He had another great start and held the lead but defended down the backstretch this time for the first 3 laps, and then stretched the lead and won by a half a lap 🥇
The win was great, but watching the foursome of karts battle in Final 1 was crazy good and the crowd had the energy which so cool!
Next week, a BIG ONE. Cup Karts North America SUMMER NATIONALS at Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati. Watch Will LIVE on Kart Chaser!!!
