Come enjoy this beautiful fall weather with a peaceful guided trail ride this Saturday, September 26th! 🍂🐴

We still have limited spots available on our 10 AM and 1 PM rides!

Whether you’re an experienced rider or have never been on a horse, our trail rides are a relaxing way to get outside, enjoy the horses and take in the beautiful trails. Rides are one hour at a walking pace, with a short riding demonstration before we head out.

Adults & children welcome
$75 per person
250 lb. weight limit
Appointment only — limited spots
Deposit required
Groups or single riders welcome!

Little water tip with this big weather drop!

I noticed the herd wasn’t drinking their normal amount this morning, so I added some electrolytes to the water. Sure enough, everyone started drinking!

We dump our tanks daily, so they’ll have fresh plain water too. Big weather changes can mean less drinking and a higher risk of colic, so water intake is something we really keep an eye on.

They have a whole hay line and plenty of room to spread out… yet here they are, all together at the dinner line. ❤️

Horses are herd animals, and having constant access to forage allows them to eat naturally throughout the day without worrying about when their next meal is coming.

No standing in a stall waiting for feeding time. No fighting over limited piles. No stress-related stall habits that are sometimes mistaken for being “cute.” Just freedom, friends and unlimited second-cutting fine grass hay.

Do we waste some hay feeding this way? Yep. But we’d rather waste a little hay than restrict something their bodies and minds are designed to have throughout the day.

You’ll also notice our newest old man is a little thin through his topline. We’ll work on getting him rounded out as he settles into the herd. Most of our horses are in their mid-20s, aside from our younger drafts, and caring for seniors means constantly adjusting to what each individual horse needs.
