Hey guys, anyone out there have a navitas AC motor for an EZ Go Txt they would want to trade for a 4K AC Navitas motor for a Club Car DS? Ended up building the Ez Go instead of the Club car and have a brand new motor in box.

Now we are on a roll! and this is where I forget to continue taking pictures as I was super excited this thing working . Sorry guys! I mount the battery in it's place with the freshly painted hold down bolt, secure it tightly, and decide to mount the onboard controller on the drivers side wall of the battery tray so as to create additional storage for the owner under the seat.. ( Another bonus in regards to the plastic battery tray in the Precedent : it provides this opportunity without sending fasteners through the side of the cart...) Make all the connections , spend a little time considering wire management possibilties, clean it up, and create a cover for the hole where the OBC used to reside and a mat for the floor of the newly created storage area. Charge it up and Bob's your Uncle, Fannie's your Aunt, another personal golf cart Personalized!~ Thanks for the opportunity bud! Now... whos next?

Before mountng our battery we may as well as mount our new Charge receptacle and pull the OBC. The receptacle fits in exactly where the OEM did so with the same screws we pop it in there. Replace the ring around it and move to the back of the seat area. We remove the 1 screw holding the backplate and open up the controller, solenoid, and OBC compartment. Three screws and The OBC ids free. We have to disconnect the Negative wire from the controller so that it can be removed with the OBC. A little maneuvering and she is out! While we have this area open we will go ahead and connect the new positive battery cable to the solenoid and the new negative battery cable to the controller. Run allongside the factory wiring harnes and close it back up>

Now we need to decide where we will mount the SOC gauge and cut out the hole. We then pull the dash so that we can mount the gauge and pull the wire to it. We decide that we have room nextto the key switch and the steering wheel, so there it goes! Run the wiring back to the seat area, and replace the trim , mat and plastic bits and move to mounting battery.

Now onto creating our wire path under the floor mat to the dash to to keep our SOC Gauge wiring from wear and tear. We start by removing the 2 bolts that secure the rear plastic to the frame. This will allow us to lift the front portion up enough to remove the lower trim plate when the time comes. We then remove the 2 bolts securing the plastic trim that that hold down the floor mat on each side of the cart.. Now we roll the mat back to expose the 3 bolts that hold down the lower trim plate. Remove these and now we can lift the front portion of the seat area to pop out the lower trim plate. Well, well, well, looks like we have a litte rod
dent infestation here...Thankfully they did not begin feasting on the wiring yet....🐭
