Cougars Middle school softball

W's all around tonight as these ladies took down Jonathan Alder 11-7. Kenzie B went the distance in the circle and was helped by some great defense including Ellia M hooking up with Kalin G for a caught stealing to shut down the running game. Several ladies with multi hit nights as Harper W showed the speed on a triple, Ellia M hit 2 doubles, and Hannah H touched them all with her 3rd homer of the season.

Graham Middle School Tournament day 1 is in the books. Good start against a couple of talented teams in pool play.

Got a little taste of our own blood tonight, literally and figuratively. But you won't keep these Cougars down long. Back at it tomorrow at Graham.

Chilly temps couldn't cool off the Cougar bats as Addi H, Hannah H, and Kalin G all hit thier first over the fence home runs of the season and Kenzie B added her 3rd. Kenzie and Adriana dominated in the circle and the defense cut down multiple baserunners.

Think I saw a construction crew coming in to move the fences back after we left.

It was a great day to be a Cougar as the middle school girls took down a very good Triad team 8-3. Ms Kenzie had herself a day pitching a complete game and helping her own cause with our first TWO over the fence home runs of the season. The bats were popping and the defense was stellar again. We're back at it Tuesday vs Shawnee.

Great start last night as the girls traveled to Urbana. The offense lit up the scoreboard while our pitchers kept the Hillclimber bats on ice!

Tryouts start tomorrow 12-2 at the school! Second day on Wednesday 4:30-6 at Home Plate. Cougar Up!

Reminder that the first open gym for 7th & 8th graders planning to tryout for softball this year is tomorrow at Home Plate!
