Great job by the Twisters with a second-place finish this weekend in the Bentonville USSSA May Slugfest, their first-ever Machine-Pitch tournament ... Including a win over the top seed and Triple-A Arkansas Knights 13-8!

The Southwest Missouri Twisters are a competitive 7-and-under, Coach-Pitch Baseball team comprised of young baseball players from Springfield, Republic, Willard, Ash Grove and Rogersville. Twisters game times announced for Rogers Spring Break Bash ... We play at 11:15, 12:45 and 5:45 next Saturday, with Sunday's start time based upon what we do in pool play. Go Twisters!

The Twisters would like to deeply thank all of the folks who came out to our Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at Applebee's this morning ... great turnout that raised a considerable amount of money for these young baseball-loving boys. Thank you!

Thanks to all who came out in the cold and supported the First Annual Twisters Garage Sale today ... A big special thanks to Allison McCarville and the many, many hours she put into it, with help the last two days from Stacey Vienhage, Wende Geitz and Rochelle Puryear. Moms like you four make what we do as a team possible! (And you, too, Bartender Rob! :) )
Reminder ... Twisters Baseball Garage Sale fundraiser tomorrow at McCarvilles home in Ironbridge Subdivision in south Springfield ... Take National south past Republic Road to Lakewood and turn right ... Subdivision on right. Moms Allison and Rochelle have been pricing things solo for the last FOUR hours, an indication of the high-quality stuff you'll find!

Twisters First Annual Garage Sale is this Saturday morning in the Ironbridge subdivision in south Springfield (http://ironbridgehoa.com/location.php), one of only two the Ironbridge folks) hold per year. Lots of sporting goods, cool athletic clothes, etc. Drop-off, cut-off for Twisters parents for merchandise at the McCarvilles is tomorrow after school!
