I was thinking ...

When it's my time I either want to go peacefully in my bed surrounded by my loved ones
Or
I want to go waist deep in the bodies of my enemies, ankle deep in spent brass while reaching for my sword.

Just thinking.

Remember Job. He lost literally everything, then was afflicted with such sores on his body that even wearing clothes was painful. Why? He never did find out. It was God teaching Satan a lesson. When the worst comes you there is no reason why, still trust that God knows.

Therefore since we have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily besets us and run the race that is set before us. Heb. 12:1
