Help me count down to the first official week of volleyball with some short and encouraging devos! We may strive to keep a winning program but we also want to foster THE PURPOSE behind it all!

When we step onto the court, the pressure to perform can feel overwhelming. But that pressure only builds when our minds get trapped replaying past mistakes or stressing over future plays.
True spiritual strength means shifting our focus. As St. Gianna Molla beautifully said, “As to the past, let us entrust it to God’s mercy, the future to Divine Providence. Our task is to live holy the present moment.”
The ultimate game-changer for the Mind of a Christian Athlete is remembering our true foundation. We aren’t defined by the scoreboard, a bad set, or a missed block. We are defined by the reality that we are sons and daughters of God. When we build our house upon that unshakeable rock, we clear out the “interference” of fear and play with total freedom.
Let’s trust His providence, play fully in the present, and leave it all on the court today! 🏐🙏✨
