A special milestone for one of Central Illinois’ own.
Nate Mansfield became the youngest capped player in Springfield FC history this past week at 17 years old, earning minutes in our 5-4 win over SantaFe Wanderers.
An All-Midwest player from Glenwood High School and a Central Illinois United MLS NEXT standout, Nate continues to develop at a high level and represent the pathway.
Proud moment for Nate and we’re looking forward to many more years of him in a Stags jersey.
