Wichita Fire Flying Monkeys Hockey Team Good firemen playing bad hockey. est. 2008 Fire Dept, and paramedics from Sedgwick Co EMS.

The WFD Flying Monkeys is an adult amateur (very novice) ice hockey team made up of firefighters from the Wichita Fire Dept, Derby Fire Dept, Sedgwick Co. We play for the love of the game, and we hit the ice to have fun and play hard.

Excited to play in a new tournament this year!

Next up for teams coming to the First Annual Battle of the Badges Hockey Tournament in Springfield, MO are the Flying Monkeys from Wichita Fire. We are excited to play against some new teams and with a name like the Flying Monkeys, you know they will be a good time.

This is a free tournament to come and watch, so come out on August 28-30 and enjoy some good and most likely entertaining hockey.
