🎉 Happy Birthday, Lynn Reeves! 🎉

Today we celebrate a man whose impact reaches far beyond fishing.

Many people know Lynn as a leader in the fishing industry. He spent 27 years helping build the fishing department at Bass Pro Shops, helped develop countless products and brands that anglers still use today, and later brought the legendary Lew’s brand back to life, turning it into one of the most recognized names in fishing. His contributions to the sport earned him induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and recently the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame’s inaugural Legacy Award.

But those who know Lynn personally know that his greatest legacy isn’t rods, reels, or business success.

It’s people.

For years, Lynn has invested his time, resources, and heart into helping young people experience the outdoors, learn life lessons, and hear the Gospel through Cross Trail Outfitters. As a longtime board member, supporter, mentor, volunteer, and advocate, he has helped make it possible for countless kids to go fishing, go hunting, build confidence, and experience the love of Christ.

Whether he’s teaching a child how to catch their first fish, sharing wisdom with volunteers, or quietly supporting the mission behind the scenes, Lynn has always understood that the outdoors is about much more than what you catch.

It’s about changing lives.

Lynn, thank you for your leadership, your generosity, your faith, and your unwavering commitment to the next generation.

🔥 Campfire is tonight🔥

Tonight is the final campfire gathering of camp, and we are asking our CTO family to join us in prayer.

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation." — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Please pray that campers would boldly declare Jesus as their Lord and Savior and choose to follow Him as disciples for the rest of their lives. Pray for conviction of sin, true repentance, and freedom from shame, fear, and hopelessness through the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

Pray that every camper's heart would be open to hearing from God tonight. Ask the Lord to remove distractions, skepticism, fear, and any hardness of heart so they can clearly receive His truth and experience His presence.

Join us in praying that tonight would be a night of changed lives, renewed hearts, and new creations in Christ. 🙏

A ram on the ground is exciting.

But what makes Ram Camp special isn’t the harvest. It’s everything that happens before it.

The early mornings. The patience. The lessons learned. The friendships formed. The conversations about faith. The guides who invest their time. The confidence these young men gain as they step outside their comfort zones.

Every ram harvested this week represents much more than a successful hunt. It represents a young man learning responsibility, perseverance, and what it means to walk alongside other men who are pointing him toward Christ.

We’re incredibly proud of these boys and thankful for every guide, volunteer, and supporter who makes camps like this possible.

What does archery, ice cream, swimming, and a pontoon boat have in common?

They’re all part of the Young Bucks Camp experience!

This week these young men have been soaking up every minute of camp life. From learning new skills on the archery range, to cooling off in the water, to cruising the lake on the pontoon, there’s never a dull moment.

But the best part isn’t the activities.

It’s the friendships being built, the confidence being gained, and the opportunities to learn about the God who created it all.

A huge thank you to our guides and volunteers who pour into these boys all week long. The impact you’re making goes far beyond a few days at camp.

The smiles say it all. We’d call that a pretty great day at Young Bucks Camp.
