Level 3 & L4/5 *NEW* Uniform Skirt Options!

After multiple requests, I have decided to expand our uniform skirt options for Level 3 and Level 4/5 Ballet classes! These skirts do NOT replace the required uniform skirt, but would allow some variety and options for our dedicated students attending multiple ballet classes each week.

In addition to our regular DAS-branded milliskin pull-on skirt, dancers in Level 3 may also choose to purchase an above-knee, meridien mesh skirt in Dark Navy, which perfectly matches their uniform leotard.

Level 4/5 students will add TWO additional skirt options: the above-knee skirt (as described above), as well as a below-knee, A-line skirt — both offered in Merlot.

Again, these are totally optional, in addition to their regular DAS-branded milliskin pull-on skirt.

Note: I absolutely LOVE our uniforms. So, if adding “options” for our older dancers becomes a distraction, I will have to reconsider this next season.

We are thrilled to have former DAS instructor and current company dancer with Dance Kaleidoscope back at the studio to teach two great summer pop-up classes - ballet, followed by contemporary! Classes are open to DAS students age 11 and older, as the class will be geared toward our intermediate/advanced levels.

Morgan Ranney is originally from Columbus, Ohio, where she trained with Columbus City Ballet School and Infusion Dance. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2023, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance, along with a minor in Nutritional Sciences. While at UofA, she had the opportunity to perform masterworks by George Balanchine and Frank Chaves. While earning her degree, Morgan performed in summer and winter residencies with “Whirlwind Dance,” an Ohio based company led by Joshua Manculich. Upon graduation, Morgan joined Central Illinois Ballet for their 2023-2024 season where she had the pleasure of performing lead roles “Clara” from The Nutcracker, and “Johanna” from Sweeney Todd, a CIB original. She joined Dance Kaleidoscope in Indianapolis, IN, in 2024 and is currently dancing in her 3rd season with the company. Morgan has a great passion for teaching and choreographing as well.

We are thrilled to welcome DAS alum and current Giordano Dance Chicago company dancer Analysse Vance back in the studio for two great pop-up classes TONIGHT! She will teach classes geared toward our intermediate and advanced level dancers, so recommended age is 11+.
