1k Kenzie Dowllar Motorsports

Well were gonna make the early call and call it a no go was going to make the trip to Sir but with weather looking sketchy we can use the time to make sure both cars are back to 100%. We will be back at it next weekend. Stay safe everyone mother nature being moody! . Kenzie will be working at 𝐒𝐆𝐊 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 Sunday 12 till 4 ish come out and see her and check out the shop and support local.

Cornfield combat in the books! Kenzie decided she wanted to race close to home so we took on the now600 series A class event. Friday night we would qualify fastest In our group to start on pole for our heat race. Kenzie was tad bit amped up and would fire a little too early and get called for jumping start moved back 1 row and would start 3 was racing for 2 and drove in a little too hot and got tangled with another car and would move to tail ended up 6th which started us 18 in main event she would have a good race with a fast car and ended up 13th. On too day 2 again would be fastest in her group and start on pole this time she was ready got a good start jumped to the lead trading slider on lap 1 and 2 then lap 3 I guess the other car wasnt expected this kid to be this fast and would throw an absolute bs slider in lap 3 and send kenzie into the wall cause a broken jacobs ladder. Thanks too Rodney Smith and Katie Smith and Rj for trying to get us some part and too Nate Kasper motorsports for loaning us a new jacobs ladder to fix car for main event. We would start 20th and was up to 14th and had the steering lock up in front stretch ending our night with another broke. Jacob's ladder and few other parts other then hurt feeling and a few parts we will get it fixed up and be back out even better and faster. We cannot be more proud of our driver she has grown and became even better and faster little driver and now you pi**ed her off she will not accept defeat the wins are right around corner. We will not give in we will keep battling and we will continue to go battle the best of the best as our motto is to be the best gotta beat the best which means. Whoever they are wherever they go you will see the family owned 1k giving them hell. We cannot do this without our friends family and sponsors thank you all and we look forward to getting all your hard earned dollars you give us in victory lane.

Weekend update Friday was a wash dang mother nature and it worked out as dad had an eye infection and was out of commission so Saturday we decided to go to SIR Raceway and run our A class car as we moved up from restrictors this year to nonrestricted. We have been working to learn the set ups since we now have more power. Each week our goal is to get faster and be up front and be competitive so for our 3rd time out we are hitting our goals. We would draw pill 6 which would start us p2 in 2nds heat race we had the car a little too free and would finsh 5th and that would start us 12th in A main. Kenzie had a much better car for the feature and would move to the top groove on lap 4 and found the speed and would drive up too 7th advancing 5 spots for hard charger of the race. We ended our night finding progress and felt good about how the evening went and the driver is getting more and more comfortable. Our next race date is Friday may 15 at Coles County Speedway Speedway.
