Due to expected inclement weather, The Silverbacks Youth Basketball Academy Tryouts have been rescheduled to January 12th at 2pm.

We want to ensure the safety of all players and families. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to see everyone on the 12th!

Be sure to bring a basketball and a water bottle.

We’re excited to welcome boys and girls of all skill levels to join our upcoming season. Whether your child is just starting out or already developing a passion for the game, this is the perfect opportunity to grow, build confidence, and have fun in a positive and supportive environment.

Our program is designed to teach foundational skills, encourage teamwork, and help young athletes develop on and off the court. Every player gets placed on a team—so no matter their experience, they’ll get to be part of the action!

What a season to remember!
Not only did this kindergarten team go UNDEFEATED, but they also made Silverbacks history by scoring an incredible 68 POINTS in a single game—with only FOUR PLAYERS on the court!

Beyond the wins and records, what makes us the proudest is seeing their confidence skyrocket throughout the season. From shy beginnings to fearless finishes, these young athletes have embraced every challenge and grown into unstoppable players who believe in themselves and their teammates.

The Silverbacks Youth Basketball is proud to introduce The Overtime Zone, a new skills training program designed to help players thrive under pressure and excel in the moments that matter most.

This program is perfect for kids who are new to basketball and want a strong introduction to the game. It’s also great for those not yet ready for team play but eager to build foundational skills, or players looking to spend extra time on the court perfecting their game.

With small-group training and a focus on key fundamentals like defense, shooting, footwork, and ball handling, The Overtime Zone is where confidence is built and skills are sharpened.
