πŸŽ“βœ¨ Congratulations, Miss Pauline! βœ¨πŸŽ“

Where do we even begin? We have had the absolute privilege of watching this incredible young woman grow from a bright-eyed 4-year-old stepping onto the mat for the very first time, into the strong, disciplined, and determined person she is today. Fourteen years of training, fourteen years of growth, fourteen years of memories β€” and we couldn't be more proud.

Miss Pauline, you have poured your heart into this dojang, and everything you've learned here β€” the perseverance, the focus, the resilience β€” will carry you far beyond these walls.

As you close this chapter and open an exciting new one, we are beyond thrilled to cheer you on as you head to the University of Michigan – Dearborn to pursue biochemistry and your dream of making a difference in the medical field. The world of medicine doesn't know it yet, but it's about to meet one of its finest. πŸ’™

From all of us at PKSA Karate β€” we love you, we believe in you, and we will always be your home base. Go show the world what you're made of! πŸ₯‹πŸ©Ί

Dear PKSA Families,

The July 18 Summer Tournament is coming up soon!

For those who have not participated in tournaments before, check out some info and videos below to help you understand what it’s all about! (Experienced competitor families you can skip to the bottom for all tournament information / registration / etc.)

WHAT IS TOURNAMENT AND WHAT CAN I OR MY STUDENT COMPETE IN?

Students of ANY RANK AND AGE including Little Ninjas are invited to compete in 4 categories: FORMS, WEAPONS (WEAPON FORMS), BOARD BREAKING, SPARRING

They will be competing against students of their own age and belt rank from all PKSA Karate schools. Students do not need to compete in all 4 categories: they may choose 1, 2, 3, or all 4. Cost is the same regardless.

FOR FORMS - Students may compete with the form listed on their current belt color curriculum card, or one below.

FOR WEAPONS FORMS – Students under green 2 may not know a weapons form yet – ask your instructor if you’d like to learn! Please see the rulebook page 5 for what weapons forms are allowed for each belt rank – students may not compete with a weapons form above their rank!

4"- 6” > $2/$3 ages 8-12 y/o

Anyone may compete from White Belt to Master

Mixing of ranks is permitted

Mixed rank teams will compete with the division of the higher partner- For example a Dan with a Gup would be placed in the Dan division
