Evan Stamer Racing & Scott Blind teamed with Brady Behrman & Nigel Faulkner to bring the TLM Racing BMW M2 home in 9th out of 35+ GTO cars after 9 hours of racing today at Barber Motorsports Park. Great effort by all four drivers today at the World Racing League event but the stand out effort came from Evan Stamer who turned in the fastest laps in the last hour of racing. Back at it tomorrow for a 'short' seven hour sprint! ;-)

Ignite Autosport drivers Evan Stamer Racing & Scott Blind head to Barber Motorsports Park for 16 hours of door-to-door sports car car racing with World Racing League this weekend. After a debut top ten finish at NOLA, the boys are ready to roll for race two of their five race WRL season. Evan was the fast guy in the car first time out and now he is at a track where he has some miles...Scott is gaining piles of experience quickly and keeping Evan honest. Should be a good one!

Nine hours Saturday, seven hours Sunday...Let's goooooo!

Sunday at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg didn't go as planned for Spike Kohlbecker Racing as contact while battling for position on the final lap resulted in a P12 finish in round 2 of the USF2000 Series. Barber Motorsports Park, where Spike has won before, is up next for the crew and the Turn 3 Motorsport team is hard on the gas and ready to put a USF2000 victory on the board to go with their season opening Indy Pro 2000 win.

Next up for the Ignite Autosport crew it's Evan Stamer Racing and Scott Blind this weekend at Barber in the TLM Racing BMW M2 in the World Racing League GTO class...more to come!

We are back! Spike Kohlbecker Racing has teamed with Turn 3 Motorsport w/Ignite Autosport to chase the USF2000 Series championship. Crazy qualifying resulted in a P10 start and followed with a drive to P6 at the finish. Great team vibe and solid start to the season! Back at it on Sunday👍🏻

It was a wet and wild one but a solid end to the 2021 USF2000 Series for our Ignite Autosport drivers. Spike Kohlbecker Racing finished 7th and claimed Rookie of the Year honors while Evan Stamer Racing saved his all-in full-send move for the last lap which netted him a season best tying 11th place finish.

While we are fortunate to have support from many people, Scott Blind is the one who made this all possible. We are grateful for his support and inspired by his commitment to karting and motorsports in general. While we were hanging with the Road to Indy crowd, Scott was grinding it out in the wet at the Cup Kart Nationals where he had great runs in two classes...impressive! Thank you for all you have done for Spike & Evan.

Wet conditions led to Sunday USF2000 Series qualifying being abandoned. Spike Kohlbecker Racing will line up 8th for today's race and Evan Stamer Racing will start 15th. The rain has stopped but the track is still full wet...should be interesting! Watch it all on Road to Indy tv👍

Sometimes there is no way to spin it...tough day! The boys were pushing hard and Spike came home in P10 after starting in 11th. Credit to Evan for going "full send" on the start, he was fully committed but unfortunately those in front of him weren't and it was a short race! Season finale is tomorrow and it looks like it will be a wet one. We'll let you know how it unfolds...

Saturday qualifying is done for the USF2000 Series at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Spike Kohlbecker Racing finished P11, Evan Stamer Racing P15. Congrats to our Cape Motorsports teammate Michael d'Orlando Racing for putting it on pole!

New USF2000 Team Looking To Ignite Growth in Road to Indy St. Louis-based Ignite Autosport hopes to grow from USF2000 into the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

USF2000 Series and the may be on summer break but our Ignite Autosport gang are keeping busy. Team Principle Scott Blind (Ignite Legends) and driver Spike Kohlbecker Racing(Ignite Senior) both scored wins at the Gateway Kartplex on Sunday while Evan Stamer Racing drove to 4th in the 27 kart Ignite Senior class. Nice job guys, now lets get back to business at New Jersey Motorsports Park - NJMP August 27-29, see you there!

Evan Stamer Racing & Spike Kohlbecker Racing took on the strong 28 car field of USF2000 drivers at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in race one of a three race weekend set. Spike utilized a single set of tires to qualify in P9 while all in front of him utilized two sets. Evan had an admittedly tough qualifying session that saw him qualify in P26. An action packed first lap saw Evan pass nine cars while Spike was caught up in some bumping and grinding that saw him lose several spots. Evan claimed the first Tilton Hard Charger Award of his rookie campaign after rising from 26th on the grid to 16th and Spike brought it home in P14. Congratulations to the Cape Motorsports crew and Michael d'Orlando Racing on an outstanding and well deserved win! Race 2 is Saturday and our boys will be ready!

The 🏁 has flown on a WILD Race 2 at Road America!

Spike Kohlbecker Racing took the 🟩 in the middle of a three wide sandwich, ripping the front nose off after being pinched. He put his head down and went full send, driving all the way from P22 back up to P8, setting some of the fastest laps in the process.

Evan Stamer Racing had his best race to date, taking advantage of an aggressive field. After making it up to P13 early, he shuffled back to P18 at the restart. After settling in, Evan drove the wheels off racing all the way back up to P11, his best finish to date.

Another great effort by the team is in the books, and we turn our attention to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Spike had a huge drive in Race 1 of the USF2000 Series this afternoon, crossing the 🏁 in P3, picking up the teams first ever podium.

A big drive from Evan Stamer Racing after an opening lap shunt, picking up 7 spots to cross the line P16.

A monumental day for the team! 👏🏻

Practice ✅ Qualifying ✅ Tomorrow we race!

Spike Kohlbecker Racing will take the green for Saturday's race on the outside of the second row in P4. Evan Stamer rolls off P23, looking to crack the top-15 on a track that is primed with passing opportunities.

For Sunday's race, Spike and Evan will start the race from P8 and P19 respectively. Rain is in the forecast, so things could get.... interesting.

Ovals! Our guys love them and Evan Stamer Racing & Spike Kohlbecker Racing both had outstanding oval track debuts at Lucas Oil Raceway in the USF2000 Series as they work their way up the ! Spike qualified P11 and put in another solid race to finish P11. Evan qualified P18 and and recorded a season best 16th finish in a 24 car field and only his fourth race. Massive congratulations to our Cape Motorsports teammate, Michael d'Orlando Racing on his clean sweep weekend with the pole and win! A determined drive for sure!

Carb Day Classic! Or Fuel Injection Friday! Our drivers Evan Stamer Racing and Spike Kohlbecker Racing are here at Lucas Oil Raceway for their first taste of oval racing with the USF2000 Series as a prelude to Sundays 105th running of the Indy 500. In qualifying today, Evan was all business and head down, qualifying 18th. Spike was on a terrific run and destined to be on the first two rows but had a bit of a 'moment' on qualifying lap 2 in an effort to put it up front....sometimes you just have to send it! Spike did, it didn't work out and after a great save, Spike will start 11th.

Weather may make for a long day tomorrow but Spike & Evan will be ready for 75 laps when the green drops!
