Wild Dawgs Baseball

Good morning…just a reminder that we will be beginning workouts next week.
We will be conditioning with
my 6th Grd football team on
Tuesdays at Ritenour High School
Dress to and prepare to work
bring water bottle 6-8p
and
Wednesdays at Marvin Elementary 630-8p for baseball only drills.
Bring gloves and water bottle.
No cleats permitted inside the buildings.
Once the weather breaks, we will practice outside as much as possible.
I have secured a permit for field 1 at Norman Meyer park once they open it up for practices on April 15 (Mondays & Wednesday 6-8p)
Until then, we can practice at ABC or Hoech Middle.
Norman Meyer Park will be our permanent practice location for the season.
We have to pick and purchase new uniforms as well so that we are ready to roll for the Season Opening parade and the start of the season which will be here in a matter of weeks.

The 2025 season starts now…
Wild Dawgs Baseball will begin workouts next week, Feb 12 at the new gym at Marvin Elementary

We will be competing out of ABC Ballpark in the 12u division

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Coach Dewayne Dupree Sr.
Our most heartfelt and sincere condolences go out to his son Dewayne Dupree Jr and his family.
We will keep and hold you in our thoughts and will be here for you if/when you need.

Wow what a week…a rainout, a tough loss and a hard earned FIRST WIN!!
I’m so proud of all of the boys and thankful to all of our parents and supporters that come out and cheer us on every game.
Great team win!!!

It was a tough night on the mound and in the field this evening, as the Dawgs (0-2) fall 10-0 vs the Knights (1-0)
We had our chances but ultimately didn’t make enough plays to overcome the Knight’s good pitching and solid defense.

A strong comeback by the Wild Dawgs (0-1) fall short as we dropped the Opener to the Blazers (1-0) by the score of 7-6.
I couldn’t be more proud of how we fought til the end.
We will continue to work. We will continue to get better.

We want to thank the parents and everyone that came out to support the boys.
