The regular season points race has officially wrapped, and we could not be prouder to announce the 42 qualifiers for the 2027 NPFL Championship on Lake Mitchell! Here is our Top 10 in the Angler of the Year points going into the championship is standings.

A massive congratulations to every angler in this field. Balancing work, family, travel, and high-stakes competition is no easy task, but these anglers showed up and executed when it mattered most.

With near-record September temperatures making an already tough bite even harder, the top 10 anglers had to adapt fast on Finale Friday. While some steady performers made steady moves up the leaderboard, one angler went completely all-in on a high-risk call, and brought 19-2 to the scales when it mattered most.

Winning Angler of the Year isn’t about having one lucky week, it’s about relentless, week-in and week-out consistency.

From northern smallmouth on the St. Lawrence River to southern grinds on Lay Lake & Lake Dardanelle, KJ Queen proved why he’s one of the best in the sport. Never finishing outside the top 18 across all six regular-season stops, KJ’s season was a masterclass in adaptability:

📍 Stop 2 | Millwood Lake: 18th
📍 Stop 3 | Lay Lake: 3rd
