✨ Senior Spotlights 2026 ✨

"Although Kylee’s time at SLAD was short, she loved making new dance friends and loved learning from new teachers. She has appreciated her time at SLAD. Kylee will graduate from Penn Foster in August and moves to Chicago in September to train full time at Ballet Chicago. Although she will miss all her family friends back home, she is excited to see what new things she will learn at BC and continue her ballet journey."

Congrats, Kylee! We're so excited for you!

"Lilly Doughty is a graduate from ladue Horton Watkins High School and has been dancing for 15 years. Although she was only at SLAD for one of those years, she made so many new connections and learned so many lessons. Lilly will be attending Michigan State University in the fall to study pre med and will continue to dance in college for the next four years!"

Way to go, Lilly! We can't wait to see where your future takes you!

"Ava has been dancing at SLAD since 2021. Some of her favorite memories are from her time spent assisting with the younger classes and performing on stage. She would like to thank the many teachers and mentors who have helped her grow into who she is today. As well as her parents for all of the sacrifices they have made. Ava plans to attend Saint Louis University this fall and no matter where she is, she'll keep on dancing."

Congratulations, Ava! We can't wait to watch you continue to grow!

"SLAD has been a part of Nylah's life for as long as she can remember. Even after taking time away, it always felt like home when she returned. The environment is so welcoming, and the teachers truly care, constantly pushing her to grow into her best self as both a dancer and a person.
SLAD has shaped who Nylah is today, giving her confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of community.
Next year, Nylah will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder to study integrative physiology, and she's excited for what’s ahead while always carrying SLAD with her."
