We could not have asked for a calmer introduction of Laurel into the herd. With other introduction in the past feet went flying. Not this time! Laurel just slipped in like she had already been a part of the herd for a while. The favorite sight was when the three Haflingers were all eating together! There’s a pretty good chance that they’ll be good friends!

It’s not just teaching girls how to ride horses, it’s mentoring them to be strong, confident, capable, and willing to try hard things.

Sometimes that looks like standing on the back of a horse. ❤️🐴

A little hula hooping on horseback made for a fun end to vaulting practice. They keep building their balance and body control along the way.

Working on two-point and poles today! 🐴

These exercises help riders build balance, leg strength, and a more secure position while learning to move with their horse.

Little skills like these build confident, capable riders! 💙

It’s so much fun watching our students learn while having fun!

Leading a horse may look simple, but students are practicing important horsemanship skills, communicating clearly, paying attention to their horse’s body language, maintaining a safe position, and confidently guiding their horse around the arena.

They love getting the chance to take the lead, and the horses make some pretty wonderful teachers! 💙
