Challenger baseball - Just a reminder that this Saturday, May 9th, is picture day. Please arrive by 9:00 a.m. to have your player's picture taken. Pictures will be paid for by Challenger Baseball, so they will be free of charge to the players.

Also - there is a large truck show at the Community Center/YMCA on Saturday. The YMCA has notified us the parking will be more difficult than usual. There are 3 entrances into the YMCA off of Progress Parkway. I am calling Entrance 1 the one closest to Highway 32. Entrance 2 is the next closest to Highway 32 and points directly between the 2 YMCA buildings. Entrance 3 has the Challenger Baseball sign and points directly back to the Challenger Baseball field. You will need to take Entrance 2, drive past the south building and then make a left towards the Challenger Baseball field. We have been told that there will be adequate parking there (near the tennis courts and playground), although it may not get you as close as you usually park. Also, I'm not clear as to whether you can take Progress Parkway from M Road and actually get to Entrance 2. You may need to access Progress Parkway from Highway 32.

This Saturday, April 4, 2026, is opening day for challenger baseball! ⚾️
The weather doesn’t look promising ☔️ so be sure to check the remind app and keep an eye here for any cancellations. Hopefully Mother Nature will let us get a game in! 🌧️

Attention all MY TEAM TRIUMPH captains and angels!!! There will be a MY TEAM TRIUMPH ride to kick off the ride for the 8th annual Spring for Down syndrome!! For all angels (pushers) and captains (riders), there will be an application/waiver to sign up for the MY TEAM TRIUMPH ride. More info to follow!! 😊

Challenger basketball has 3 weeks left. We’re having so much fun!!! The next 2 games will be at the sports complex gym (not in the gym we have been playing in). On April 8, we will have an end of season party at American Custard at 5:30 to celebrate all of YOU!!

If you completed an application for basketball, you will not need to turn an additional application in for baseball. We will be asking for an updated sports/events application annually.
