We welcomed USA women’s National Team members .zimmer to work with our Gateway athletes! Fun fact - Makenna Webster started her field hockey career at Gateway and played for 12 years before heading to college! Thank you - Makenna, Maddie, and Jenny!

🎓🏑 Congratulations to our Class of 2026! 🏑🎓
We’re so excited to celebrate our 10 Gateway Club seniors who are graduating and will be continuing their field hockey careers at the collegiate level next year!
Over the years, these athletes have poured countless hours into their training, competition, and growth, showing incredible hard work, dedication, and passion for the game. We couldn’t be prouder to see them take this next step — they truly represent the very best of Gateway Elite.
As members of our Gateway Elite teams, they have competed at the highest level, supported their teammates, and represented our club with pride and class. Beyond their accomplishments on the field, they have also been outstanding leaders and role models for the younger athletes in our program. Their impact on Gateway Club extends far beyond their playing years, and their legacy will continue to inspire future generations of athletes.
We also want to recognize and thank all of our graduating seniors who competed with Gateway throughout the years that aren’t continuing on to play in college. We are so grateful to the years of playing Gateway!
And let’s not forget the parents, thank you to all the senior parents for the years of attending tournaments, washing uniforms, cheering on the teams and all that’s in between! You all will truly be missed!

🚨Commitment Announcement!!🚨 Congratulations to Grace Inserra (Visitation Academy - Class of 2027) on her commitment to Rhodes College!
A member of Gateway since 2019, Grace has represented Gateway numerous times at the national level, most recently competing at USAFH Sunshine Showcase, National Hockey Festival, and NFHCA Winter Escape. A midfielder for Visitation Academy, Grace has been a varsity starter since her freshman year, earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors as both a freshman and sophomore before being named 1st Team All-Conference and team captain during her junior season.
Grace brings composure, energy and consistency to the midfield. Her vision and strong decision-making, combined with her reliability on the defensive side of the ball, allow her to make big stops for her team in crucial moments. A selfless and team-first player, Grace is the type of teammate who elevates those around her through her work ethic and leadership. An incredibly coachable athlete who always does all she can to better herself for the overall success of the team.
Grace’s leadership extends far beyond the field. A 2026 Academic All-State honoree and three-year member of National Honor Society, she consistently demonstrates commitment, discipline, and excellence in everything she pursues. In addition to field hockey, Grace participates in multiple styles of dance including ballet, tap, and jazz, experiences that have helped shape her discipline, attention to detail, and understanding of the dedication required to perform at a high level. She also gives back to her community as a volunteer dance teacher at her studio, reflecting the kind of character that makes her so respected by teammates and coaches alike.
Rhodes College competes at the NCAA Division III level in the Collegiate Field Hockey Conference (CFHC). Congratulations, Grace! We are proud of all you have accomplished and cannot wait to watch you shine at the next level.

✨Regionals Recap ✨What an incredible weekend of field hockey for our Gateway Elite Club teams at RCC and Regional Cup! Across every age group, our athletes competed with heart, determination, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship. Our coaches and parents were incredible throughout the entire weekend supporting our athletes in a positive way. ❤️🤍💙

Overall, Gateway teams earned an incredible 85 wins throughout the weekend with 12 undefeated teams! 🏆👏 Most importantly, this weekend showcased what we try to emphasize at every practice and game — teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship, and supporting one another every step of the way. Win, lose, or draw, we are proud of every athlete giving it their all! Your hard work, dedication, and encouragement continue to make Gateway so special!
A huge THANK YOU to all of our players, coaches, parents, families, teams, and umpires for making Regionals such an unforgettable weekend. A big thank you to all the families that volunteered time or donated to the hospitality.

This weekend we kick off the biggest tournament of the year! With 122 teams competing in Regionals it’s sure to be a great weekend of field hockey. Regional Cup games kick off tonight with our local competition and being tomorrow at 7:30am! TourneyMachine has schedules and scores for both events.

🚨Commitment Announcement!!🚨Congratulations to Olivia Wineinger (Eureka High School – Class of 2027) on her commitment to Maryville University!
A member of Gateway since 2025, Olivia has quickly developed into a rising player in the Class of 2027. After first joining the club through the Spring High School Prep program, she has continued to elevate her game, competing on the U19 White team. Most recently, she helped her team to a pool A championship at the Arch City 7v7 tournament. Olivia also gives back to the program as a Gateway Mini Sticks coach, inspiring and supporting our next generation of players.
At Eureka High School, Olivia has made an immediate impact, earning a varsity starting role as a sophomore and continuing as a key contributor through her junior season. After beginning her field hockey journey in 2023, her development and emergence as a standout received her recognition as a Metro STL Field Hockey Phenom in 2025.
Competing as both a forward and midfielder, Olivia brings energy and versatility to the field. A relentless presence in the attacking circle, she battles for space, puts defenders under pressure, and consistently competes to create scoring opportunities. Her tenacity and competitiveness allow her to impact play in multiple areas, making her a valuable presence for her team. She combines a growth mindset with a competitive edge, embracing challenges and continually pushing herself to improve.
A multi-sport athlete, Olivia has also competed in track and field and has a strong background in soccer, playing for seven years at both the club and high school levels.
In the classroom, Olivia is actively involved across multiple school organizations and is a member of the A+ Program. She is also enrolled in the dual enrollment program through STLCC Wildwood, demonstrating her commitment to both athletic and academic growth.
Maryville University competes at the NCAA Division II level. Congratulations, Olivia! We are so proud of your growth and excited to see you take your game to the next level!

🚨Commitment Announcement!!🚨Congratulations to Bella Mosley (Kirkwood High School – Class of 2027) on her commitment to Bryn Mawr College!
A dedicated member of Gateway since 2018, Bella has developed into a high-level competitor in the Class of 2027. A key contributor on Gateway’s U16 and U19 Red, helping her teams to a 1st place finish at U16 RCC’s and Festival in 2025. She also represented Gateway nationally at the U16 NCC’s. Bella is a 3x USA FH Nexus Regional Camp selection.
A varsity starter for Kirkwood HS since freshman year, Bella led her team to a State Quarterfinal appearance her sophomore year. Named team captain her junior year, she earned 1st Team All-Conference honors.
Bella brings a presence to the backfield, a dependable player with excellent awareness, composure, consistently making big stops to shut down the opponent’s attack. She competes with poise, always taking a selfless, team-first approach and making a big impact on both sides of the ball. Bella is a totally team player admired by all of her teammates and coaches!
Additionally, Bella has achieved tremendous success in ice hockey, helping lead her team to three Missouri State Championships (2024, 2025, 2026), 2026 NIHL Presidents Cup and League Championships. She also gives back to the game as an ice hockey referee and as a standout coach in the Gateway mini sticks program since 2023.
In the classroom, Bella has earned NFHCA Scholar of Distinction and Academic Squad honors, the NIHL Academic Excellence Award, and is a member of the Kirkwood High School Hispanic Honor Society. She also serves as Principal Double Bass for the KHS Concert Orchestra.
