Calling all furry little monsters!

As we near the end of summer, it’s finally time to shift gears into everyone’s favorite creepy season and welcome the return of our Pawtober Pup Parade! Here’s the spooky deets:

• Saturday, October 17th.
• Parade starts at 11AM.
• Tails & Trails Members: Free Admission.
• Non-Members: $6.00 Admission.
• Check-In Table will be at Greensfelder Recreation Complex Entrance.
• All entrants must be up to date on their shots (Rabies/Bordetella/Distemper) and must be spayed or neutered. Send updated copies to our email: [email protected]

Parade will be led by a guide and will end at the dog park. When contestants arrive at the dog park, they will walk by the Judge’s Table to compete for a chance to win a PRIZE! Following the contest will be a photo-op and pup social!

Happy Labor Day!

Please note: The Greensfelder Recreation Complex will be closed Monday, September 7th for Labor Day. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, September 8th.

There is a couple of weeks left in August, join us for Hunt-and-Sketch before it's too late!

Attention St. Louis County friends and family; A new program at Queeny Park has entered the chat!

This summer we’ve decided to create something new and fresh to show off your artistic talent, so, this August come join us for our month-long “Hunt-and-Sketch” around the park! During this event you will be tasked with decoding clues that lead you to different landmarks in the park that you must draw in your “Hunt-and-Sketch Passport”. Visit us at our Greensfelder Recreation Complex to pick up your clues, map, and supplies to start your hunt. Once you have drawn and solved all the riddles, come swing back by our offices to show off your artwork and pick up your prize! This event is on-going throughout the month, so draw and hunt at your leisure. The last day to “turn in” your passport for a prize is during Recreation Complex hours on Monday, the 31st.

Date: August 3rd-31st.
Time: Park is open from Dawn till Dusk (Recreation Complex hours Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm).
Entry: $5 per person (supplies included).
Age Limit: All ages!!!

Want to get the kids outside and exploring, solving clues, and sketching the hidden gems they discover along the way? Try our brand‑new Hunt‑and‑Sketch Passport challenge at Queeny Park!

Pick up your passport at Greensfelder Recreation Complex, follow clue-filled prompts to uncover landmarks throughout the park, and sketch what you discover. You can complete the challenge at your own pace. You have the entire month of August to finish!

Once your passport is done, bring it back to claim your prize! And when you’re finished exploring, the playground next door is the perfect spot to keep the fun going.

Registration is officially OPEN for our Queeny Park Group Hayrides!

Round up your friends, family, or coworkers and enjoy a 45‑minute tractor‑pulled hayride through the scenic trails of Queeny Park. After the ride, cozy up around a one‑hour cook fire, perfect for s’mores, stories, and making memories.

Each hay wagon fits up to 20 people (actual headcount, no exceptions), and reservations are required.
