Greensfelder Recreation Complex at Queeny Park

A little rain couldn’t dampen the fun at the Queeny Egg Hunt this past weekend! Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and came out to celebrate with us—we had an amazing time.

Special shoutout to the Special School District of St. Louis County, Vocational Skills Program for helping us stuff more than 3,000 eggs.

And thank you to the Westminster Christian Hockey Club for your day‑of support, from spreading eggs to running our prize table.

St. Louis County Parks and Recreation will conduct a prescribed burn at Queeny Park on Monday, March 23, weather permitting. The planned ignition is expected to begin around 10:30 a.m., depending on conditions. This burn is part of a woodland restoration project in the center of the park.

Prescribed burns help restore native habitats, control invasive species, and reduce wildfire risk. Burn areas and surrounding will be closed to the public during operations, and all plans are subject to change based on weather conditions.

The burn will take place near the central portion of the park, close to the Weidman Road trail and horse pasture. Ignition is expected to begin around 10:30 a.m., depending on conditions.

UPDATE: Our ice resurfacer has been repaired and all rentals and public sessions are running as scheduled.

Our public Session today (2/6/2026) from 1:45pm - 3:45pm is cancelled due to a mechanical issue with our ice resurfacer.
