Never stop growing.
I rarely post except when I feel passionately about someone or something that has changed my life. Participating in the Wheels Up jump clinics has made me a better rider. Cody has a way of teaching that inspires and challenges you to work on your weaknesses. Even in a group setting I always felt like it was a personal clinic and he was speaking directly to me. I think it is important to disclose some things about me, not to brag but to validate how beneficial it can be when you get beyond yourself and are open to grow. I have co managed bike shops here in the Lou, worked for and raced while at Specialized, Fox Racing Shocks and MRP. I have raced, downhill, dual slalom, cross country, cyclocross, triathlons , rode motocross, participated in hare scrambles and recently my first Enduro here at The Chubb which is my new passion. I love the format. I have got to hang out with and ride with some really cool people: Tom Ritchie, Bart Brentjens, Ned Overend, Shaun Palmer, Kurt Voorhees, John Tomac and Kyle Straight to name a few.

Cody and Wheels Up taught me things I never gleaned from riding with any of those guys and has undone and continues to undo a LOT of bad habits I have. Every time I am around him, when I am humble enough to get beyond myself, I learn and grow, even at almost 50 years young.

After attending several of Cody's bike clinics in the past several years, I booked a private 2 hours lesson with him. It was awesome!!! for a little more money you get the best bike instructor in our area all for yourself. In a couple of hours I achieved more than I did in several clinics combined, I will definitely do this again. Highly recommended

Big thank you to Cody from Wheels Up! My girlfriend and I took a jumping class and it was amazing. The time Cody took early to make sure we had our basic skills down translated directly it to the jumps we learned later. Now I know what a good jump feels like. I can't wait to sign-up for the advanced jumping class.

I not only enjoyed your class but needed it. I learned a lot. I didn't realize all the bad habits I had. Wish I could have taken one of your courses a couple years ago. I've been practicing as much as the weather permits so I'll be ready for next year. Plan to take one of the advanced classes as soon as I can. Keep up the good work and I'll see you around.

Wheels Up Wednesday hitting a berm on Zombie

Wheels up is the best mountain bike teaching company around. I signed My 8 year old son to their kids clinic and he is now hooked on the sport, then, I took one of their adult clinics and it was awesome. Cody, the instructor, is a certified level two instructor, one of very few in Missouri, he is very passionate about teaching mountain biking. In a few hours I learned and improved more than I had in several days in other mountain biking clinics I attended. I highly recommend it!!!

Any parent wanting their children to get out and get physical would be well advised to seek out Jeff and Cody for the Wheels Up program. I have known Cody and Jeff for decades now. With Jeff's experience as a P.E. teacher and Cody's 15 years working in the shop you couldn't have a better learning situation. Two thumbs up for these guys!

End of Summer Camp! Besides some serious rain for 3 out the 5 days. We did, skills, games, challenges, trails, and lots of miles! Total miles for the all day campers was 85 miles! We road a lot of pavement and gravel due to the wet conditions. Next weeks final camp of the summer Advanced Camp still has spaces available!

Advanced camp was a blast! Multiple locations, some of the toughest areas, media day, and airbags and features! Big Weekend at Redemption Enduro! Congratulations to our 3 great youth riders that took on a monster 3 days of being on the bike! 1 podium and 2 top tens!
