We love this! Way to support those in your community who need it and thank you to all the parish teams that play in St Ferdinand’s tournament! So many of our parish tournaments are there to support not just parish athletics, but others in need. We encourage all of our teams to support these tournaments! It’s a lot of work, but so many great memories and traditions over the years have been made. Thank you to all parishes who host tournaments and their volunteers that make them possible!
So, why do we do this? We get asked that all the time. Every weekend in March, starting Friday afternoon and ending at dusk on Sunday. Lots of time. Well, this is it. Yesterday, at our 7pm game we had two former beneficiaries…no, two Hero cancer fighters return to compete in a tournament that was once for them. Who won? Who cares? Who lost? Cancer! These two warriors keep fighting…we’re gonna keep selling BBQ! 1735 Charbonier. St Ferdinand Church!! (We also love our regulars and new friends)! BTW…cancer sucks, BBQ doesn’t!

Yesterday, December 20th, was my last day sitting at this desk as the Director of C*C Sports for the Archdiocese of St Louis.
I have truly been blessed to work for one of the oldest and largest C*C organizations in the country. Hats off to our fantastic C*C staff, Laura, Marc, and Jeff, who work so hard for C*C.
I began my C*C experience as a basketball official in 1975. I officiated, coached, was a proud C*C parent, and eventually an employee, joining the office in 2017.
Many great memories and life-long friendships over the years. C*C has been an integral part of my family, as I know it has been for many of you.
