So I packed up my supplies, traveled to the job site, set up my mobile collection area, secured the restroom, completed the paperwork, and handled the testing right there at their facility.
Look at the pictures.

That folding table became my workspace.
That restroom became my temporary collection site.

Those trucks represent a company with employees and potentially ongoing testing needs.
THIS is mobile specimen collection.

You don't necessarily need somebody walking into an office one person at a time.
Sometimes the opportunity is YOU going where the CLIENT needs you.

And here's the bigger lesson:
I'm not looking at this as “I got 20 tests today.”
I'm looking at it as:

“How do I turn these 20 tests into a long-term CLIENT?”

Because today's 20 tests could lead to their next group of new hires, random testing, post-accident testing, reasonable-suspicion collections, future on-site events and referrals.
That's how you stop thinking like someone who simply performs collections and start thinking like someone who owns a specimen collection business.
