Happy Father’s Day to the best papi, chef papi, dog & cat papi we could ever ask for 💙

There’s so much I want say about how amazing of a dad you are and how lucky our kids are, but I really want to get back to this amazing day we’ve gotten to be blessed with to have with you!

We are grateful for you and for our Heavenly Father blessing us with you! He really knew what he was doing that Sunday when I first saw you 🙏🏼🥹

Thanks for loving us, being our rock, being the light in our home, and most importantly all of ours safe place 🫶🏼

not to be dramatic, but i’m going to have a one year old in like 6 months and i’m not ok

on a serious note, i’ve been feeling an overwhelming amount of gratitude for this little blessing so i’ve been really trying to savor every moment because before I know it my baby will be a toddler 🥹

even though i’ve been trying to slow down and soak it in, it just seems that time is flying by. it really does feel like just yesterday that I was entering our 2 day journey to bringing lil man earthside.

although it wasn’t exactly how I planned and imagined, it was still nothing short of a miracle! I thoroughly enjoy the process of entering into that beautiful birth portal and coming out a new with a little piece of heaven in my arms 🙏🏼🩵👼🏻

the most empowering and everlasting moments of my life have been delivering my babies on my own! the connection i’ve felt when reaching down and meeting my babies heads as the enter this world slowly and on their time is what I imagine Jesus Christ’s hands holding mine as I meet Mother Mary and enter our heavenly Father’s gates feels like 🥹🤍🤝⛪️✨🪽

miss this magical time ❤️

wish I could turn on the smeller through the phone for that stovetop potpourri 🤌🏼

anyways Christmas is in 216 days, but I’m not counting or anything ☺️
or maybe I am because my boy just turned 5 months yesterday so he’s basically already half a year old which makes me not okay lol

my lil turkey 🤎

I promise I’m almost done with sharing from last year. I’m just ocd and can’t post in the present. 1 because I’m never on my phone when doing things or hardly ever unless the babies are sleeping and 2 because I’m a silly perfectionist and my feed has to flow lol

I told Jose this morning I’m working on healing that inner perfectionist that always has me stuck on a high cortisol level loop! From now on I’m practicing staying in the moment, but not stressing about making everything “perfect” for the moment 👍🏼

however the unhealed perfectionist in me does get sad looking at that second photo knowing that that’s the last time we got a family photo :(

these all deserved a permanent spot outside of me brain

1-3) stickered belly bump dump
4) priceless, you can’t put a price on that
5) daydreaming about those but i refrain from even making them while Jose’s on a cut, so it’s been 3 months too long
6) the cutest lil Who ever
7) pen was always in hand w pregnancy brain lol pages and pages of notes 🖋️
8-12) last moments of fall 💛✨🌞🍁🍂
13-15) the first road to 135 for Jose
16) soaking in the calm before the chaos
17) locked outside the hotel room while in labor at 35 weeks pregnant with the norovirus while Jose was about to step in the cage lol
16) got discharged from the hospital at 3 am and we were on the road at 8 am both sick taking turns throwing up for our 6 hour ride home, but I kept seeing signs of God everywhere reassuring me He was with us and everything was going to be okay🥲🙏🏼
17) stopping to take in the scenery just to realize later that it cost $20 in tolls to stop
and if you listen really closely you can hear my attempt to moo after 24 hours of dying

this may or may not be from fall fest (idk because last year was a blur hashtag pregnancy brain) either way it’s same same, but different ya know. always good vibes just diff perfect vibes for diff seasons ✨

we’re always looking forward to this event to do as a family and now Zephi has a built-in bestie to have all the fun with 🥹

and always we can’t wait to see all the lovely, beautiful faces and celebrate the season of hard work and living with friends! it’s seriously the perfect balance of coming together, paying it forward, making connections, exploring this city as a community and seeing what life has to offer if you just get outside your comfort zone 💛🤙🏼

also should be noted how very grateful (srry not srry if you get tired of all my gratitude) I am to be allowed to be apart of this. it truly is a luxury to be able to get to experience these experiences with my favorite people in the whole world and I don’t take it for granted for a second 🫶🏼🩵🥲

they make you feel like family and we are very thankful for that!! It’s been awhile since this and I never really got to thank them for having us again, so I guess this is me informally, formally thanking you guys for everything. Truly, everything. We really don’t know where we would be without 1st Phorm sometimes!

is it too soon to say that it reminded me of the time we tried taking a 2 year old to Grant’s Farm lolol

I’d say it’s perfect weather for another trip, but this weather is actually scary and the damage it produces is truly devastating. St.Louis is strong though and I hope that the communities can come together to repair and come back better!

As a parent I know how hard it can be to get out with the kids when everything seems to be revolved around a storm of emotions, however, it gets easier and you learn to just adapt to the conditions you’re in.

when you weather the seasons of life things become more of a breeze and you can be grateful for all the moments it holds 🫶🏼

hiking season is upon us and I can’t help but wonder whether hiking with belly or baby is easier 🙃

either way, this is where to find me because raising my kids outside is 10x easier then raising them any other way 💛

I can’t wait to see my mans do his thing again ❤️

getting to witness him chase his dreams so relentlessly is one of my favorite things, and I’m so proud of him for all the hard work he puts in day in and day out, training and working, and leading this family!

I could not be more thankful for everything he does for us and for never giving up on us or his dreams! He is nothing short of an amazing man and talent 🥰

also could not be more grateful for the people in our corner supporting us on this journey of Jose making it to the ufc a reality one day 🙏🏼
