Hi! Volunteer day is SUNDAY April 26th! The date was wrong on the previously posted flyer! Please gather your friends! It's mostly gardening and we have plenty of equipment, but if you have your own, please bring that!

This is our first step in the rebuild we are not abandoning the northside and our community!

If you have them please bring gardening tools, WHEELBARROWS etc because all of ours were stolen from the site :((

Friends and skaters! We've been busy preparing a lot behind the scenes and now we're moving to on site work.

We would really appreciate some help this Sunday 11am - 3pm!
There's gardening to be done and also a lot of trash to be picked up! ...because people in need or want of shelter have been using Sk8Liborius for a place to be and have left a lott of mess behind.

We have a dumpster, we have gloves and masks but please bring your own if you have.
BETTER yet... if you have equipment like WHEELBARROWS, SHOVELS, other gardening equipment would be utilised!

Artist will be there painting live 11-1pm come see him live!

Drinks, snacks, pizza, music all provided!

AND a raffle - for all volunteers who stay 3+ hrs will be entered to win a T - Shirt to take home on the day!

We'll also have merchandise available if you would like to purchase any in person.

Today I went digging for some old pictures to honour it today as the Catholic church it once was! It's wonderful that it was a gathering place for so many decades and that we gave it another life! As a former catholic myself I still admire those that gathered here with faith.

3rd pic - St. Liborius High Altar Reredos

Established in 1856; closed in 1992
Established as a German national parish, the congregation met at North Market and Hogan Street, where it completed constructing a beautiful church building in 1889. A rectory was added a year later and a convent in 1905. The School Sisters of Notre Dame held a school for the parish from 1859 to 1969. As the number of Catholics in the neighborhood diminished, the congregation merged with Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Holy Name, and Holy Trinity, before finally closing the church in 1992. The building, once in a state of deterioration, was renovated, turned into a skatepark, before a fire took place in June 2023.

Final day out here !!! Carts are gassed up and ready to roll you up and down the wall all day!!! The artists have been working around the clock, and it's all coming together beautifully. Check out our booth near the main stage also!!!

Saturday and Sunday! We've got golf carts! Taking you to and from your cars, up/down the flood wall is no problem for us!
Proceeds go to our continued rebuild efforts!

Remember, if you're coming to the festival by foot, wear suitable footwear!

The rain has stopped so we're staying till 3 maybe 4pm latest! Please come by we'd appreciate the help!

Hey! It's been awhile since we had a volunteer day since there weren't many safe things to do, but now we really need some help at the church! If you are available, please come down this Sunday, July 13th, 10am to 3pm.

SATURDAY JUNE 28TH 1PM!!! Sk8 Liborius and friends will be holding a skate demonstration for YOUTH SUMMER SPECIAL EVENTS PROGRAM!!! It will be in the parking lot across Grand from the Carpenter Branch of the library near S. Grand and Utah.
