✨ NEW POP-UP: STRAPS SEQUENCING FOR ALL AERIALISTS ✨

Ready to step outside your usual apparatus and train with an internationally experienced aerial performer? This is your chance to learn from Abbie Rooney, an accomplished aerialist whose performance credits include Disneyland Paris and The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride! 🌍✨

Abbie is bringing her expertise to Bumbershoot for a special 90-minute Straps Sequencing pop-up designed to help aerialists explore straps through both technical skill and artistic expression.

You’ll learn an enjoyable choreography flowing through a variety of straps elements—including spinning, swinging, poses, and drops—while expanding your movement vocabulary beyond your usual apparatus.

This is more than just trying a new apparatus. It’s an opportunity to train with an experienced world performer, learn her approach to movement and performance, and challenge yourself in a new way.

Prerequisites: Current or previous enrollment in any Level 3+ aerial class (or instructor permission).

💪 You should be able to complete a full unassisted pull-up and an unassisted ground invert, and have knowledge of how to safely grab a strap using the cinch/safety.

Not quite sure you're ready? Students who are on the fence are encouraged to take a prep lesson with Abbie to establish the fundamentals before the pop-up.
