Kaden (on the right) did great at the NAGA tournament yesterday. He took 1st in the No Gi and 2nd in the Gi competition. Congrates to Kaden for all the hard work it took to get him there.

Great morning on the mat at Gracie Fernandina BJJ. My brother-in-law Karel (Blue Shirt) and his friend Keenan came to class for the first time. Hopefully it will start a lifetime of learning and loving BJJ for the two of them.

Great Saturday class on the mats. We continued learning Shime-waza (choking) techniques as well as a new throw, Ne Dan Ko Soto Gari (two step minor outer reap).

Great class tonight. We did self-defense with multiple attackers and the full list of Osaekomi (pinning techniques) that everyone needs to know for their next belt test.
