Words cannot express the joy , the love, & the gratitude I have my Mando who single-handedly orchestrated the best, most meaningful birthday weekend I’ve ever had!! ❤️🙏😘🎂

Nick gave me the most wonderful birthday surprise by secretly arranging for my parents to fly up all the way from Texas to spend my birthday weekend with us 😃🎉❤️🙏❤️🎂✨

I honestly had NO CLUE Nick & my parents were planning this for months 😊 Last Friday when I came home on the Metro North train per usual, I was delighted when Nick unexpectedly met me & we continued to walk to our apartment. We got into our apartment & I was rambling about all the things that I needed to get done blah blah blah.
As I set my things down, I looked up & I burst out in tears - my parents were actually standing in my living room!!!!! 😃😃😃😃 I cried tears of joy & fell into the arms of my Mom & Dad 🥲🥲🥲 then my Mom said, “this was all Nick’s idea” ❤️❤️❤️ I cried even more tears of joy & with immense gratitude I wrapped my arms around my love 😘❤️❤️❤️ Never have I ever experienced such a profoundly loving gift - the gift of spending meaningful, quality time with the ones whom I love deeply but seldom are able to see 🥲❤️❤️❤️🎁

It was a fantastic weekend of sharing laughs, memories, & delicious food 🎂🧁🍰🍕🌮 Nick also arranged for his parents to meet my parents for the very 1st time!!! 😃😃😃😃 we all had such a blast!!! 🎉🎉🎉 ❤️ I loved every single moment of the weekend 🙏❤️

My heart is bursting with so much love I can hardly stand it 🥲❤️❤️❤️ I could not have asked for a better birthday & I could not ask for a better, more thoughtful companion 🙏❤️🙏 thank you pfor being my love, my Mando, my partner, my teammate, my colleague, my peer, and my best friend ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️😘😘😘

Often times when it comes to strength training, we can become preoccupied by the amount of weight we moving/lifting & the sensationalism that can come with it. 🌊🌊

On the surface, logic dictates is that lifting heavy in volume will do the trick of strengthening your grip. However, the DIAMETER of the object we are grasping plays a significant role concerning the STAMINA our our grip. 💡💡

Instead of only relying on strategy of increasing the weight of the implement you are lifting, Consider the diameter of it’s handle 🤨🤔➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰➰
Thicker-handled implements can refine & support the ability of our fingers to maintain a hold on an object using a closed grasp✊💪

Thicker diameters activate more of the smaller muscles in the hand & forearm, & take some pressure off the elbow and rotator cuff 👍😁👍

Upgrading your handle diameter might not be as thrilling as increasing the actual weight volume you are lifting, but it’s important to not overlook what’s tangibly in front of us 👽🛸👽🛸👽 thoughts??

Though hanging above the ground, purpose of selecting this exercise for a training program is actually a little more mundane & down to earth than what you may initially believe it to be🌎

In this hanging exercise variation, my purpose is to strengthen the muscles & joint actions that control my ability to GRIP 😁

Ok, so what? Big freakin’ deal 🙄What does hanging from a bar have to do with the navigating through the modern-day chaos of day-to-day living? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Well, cultivating solid grip strength could mean the difference of holding on to your dog’s leash when your pup get excited & tries to bolt away, OR having to run after your canine friend into the on-coming traffic he’s just curiously darted into 🐶🚦🚗😩
