TOURNAMENT PLAY !!! ⚾️ It's time to pick up your game my fellow Umpires. 1) Look the part , clean shoe's , clean uniforms. 2) Get to the field early. Meet with your partner go over basic ground rules , infield fly rule, etc. 3) Remember the idea is to get the call right always which means asking your partner for help when needed It's ok to get help , maybe your partner seen something you may have missed. 4) SAFETY FIRST ALWAYS. Remember it's about the kids having fun playing the greatest game in the world , Enjoy guys !!! ⚾️

TODAY , TODAY, TODAY, TODAY, TODAY, TODAY, The Fight For Two foundation Annually Softball Tournament at Scalzi Park to benefit family's & Children dealing with Cancer. Today Stamford Youth Umpires will remember our brother and friend Anthony (Zez) Zezmia who loved helping this wonderful charity every year. Frist pitch is scheduled for 915 am. Please if you can stop by the park and say hello and purchase a raffle ticket or two. ( Many great items will be raffle off ). This Saturday June 13th ( Scalzi Park ) , The Fight ForTwo foundation annually Softball Tournament to benefit family's & Children dealing with Cancer. Stamford Youth Umpires will be there the entire day Umpiring. If you get a chance please stop by and say hello , buy a raffle ticket or two and show some support for the Fight ForTwo foundation.
