We will be diving right into November aboard the Silver Dolphin! We are experiencing incredible fall visibility, 20' or more! The water is still in the high 60s. We are comfortably setup for 12 divers so we have plenty of room. With two freshwater showers and a heated cabin the boat is perfect for fall diving.

Dive charters are in full swing!!! Last weekend we had 5 students complete their Openwater Qualification Dives! More every weekend!

We have been enjoying local diving aboard the Silver Dolphin. We have seen water temperatures in some spots almost reaching 80! We have been enjoying spearfishing and harvesting clams! The lobsters are around If you have the skill to go after them. I caught a 2 1/2 to 3 pounder last week and it was delish!

We will be kicking off the dive season next weekend. We will be resuming our weekly dive schedule with reduced capacity for social distancing aboard the Silver Dolphin.

The Silver Dolphin will soon be up and running for local diving charters. We are now just waiting for the state to reopen. We plan on initially running with reduced capacity based on rules and protocols issued by local and federal government guidelines.

Coronavirus Information
While you are already most likely on Coronavirus information overload, I need to let you know the plans for Capt Saam’s Scuba School, LLC for the near future. During the next few weeks, the shop’s doors will be closed to the general public nor will there be pool sessions until further notice.

We will continue to conduct personal shopping appointments on request. You can schedule an appointment via email or over the phone. Our Spring gear servicing work will continue. Please let us know if you would like to get your annual service going. If you need to drop off or pick up gear for service please schedule an appointment. We will also be accepting on-line class signups and supporting eLearning efforts. Additionally, we will be hard at work ‘Spring Commissioning’ the Silver Dolphin as we are looking forward a busy dive season.

It is my hope that the Coronavirus Pandemic concerns will abate in the next few weeks and we can all get on with our normal day to day activities. Until then please be aware of all the community spreading risks and most of all be safe!
